We rented this house to have enough space for the whole family. We all enjoyed this beautiful spot. The place was well equipped with cookware, serving pieces, and dinnerware. Communication was good and we knew what we had to bring with us to the house (beach towels, paper products, and dish washing supplies).

The property was spacious and had plenty of room for our family. They were very accommodating of our pets, as well. Beautiful views of the ocean and easy beach access. Furnishings were comfortable and tasteful. The kitchen had just about everything needed. Neighbors and people living nearby were very friendly. It was an unexpectly sad time for our family but a wonderful place to offer serenity.
The experience we just had with this property and property management company felt like a never ending joke. No response from the owner after 20 hours of messaging and emailing regarding our check in process and code for the house. We were fortunate the office was still open. We also messaged about the heated pool with no response so had to call the after hours. They also told us they were having furniture delivered there from 11am-1pm the day of (which is so disrespectful to our space and time) only for them to show up at 2 when kids were napping. There was another hiccup about occupancy reports and when we followed up a couple times for them to clarify what they were talking about, they said they messaged the wrong renters. Last but not least, cockroaches cockroaches cockroaches. Highly advise you to do your research and avoid a bad experience.

We understand that your experience with our company was less than desirable and we understand the inconveniences that you faced during your stay. The reason there was an issue with the check in process was due to an incorrect phone number being entered into VRBO. The check in information was being texted to that incorrect phone number on file, which was entered by the guest who made the reservation online. An associate was able to assist to get you your check in information at the main office and we apologized for missing the message where you notified us that you hadn't received it yet. The reason the pool was not heated upon arrival was because it was not purchased or ordered through our website, therefore it was not turned on. Pool heat is an additional charge and we needed to be notified so we could have a maintenance technician turn it on before your arrival. When you notified us about the pool heat, we immediately starting working on getting it turned on for you. There was also a miscommunication as you were messaging in an old reservation for a property from 2020, so we were unsure where to send our maintenance technicians to assist you. The after hours phone number was the correct one to call after our main office closes to assist your emergent needs. You were notified about the furniture delivery and had the option to decline that, which you did not. We do not have control over the company delivering the furniture to have known they would arrive an hour late as the company did not notify us. We were also never notified of a pest control issue. If you had notified our staff, we would have sent pest control out to take care of the issue immediately. Our management team has continually tried to contact you during your stay and after check out, leaving multiple voicemails with out any response back. We apologize for the negative experience you had with our company. We would greatly appreciate if you could return our calls so we can settle the issues from your stay.
Great House with Lots of Beds and Baths and great oceanfront views
The Savannah is large, well laid out, comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen. There are 7 BRs and 6-1/2 baths which was great for our group. Better Beach Rentals was very responsive to a few issues we had and took care of it all the same day we reported it. Couldn’t ask for better service. We would definitely stay there again.
