Not immaculate

We chose the place that was advertised as Immaculate! We loved the location and home but the mattress pads all had sand and debris. The silverware drawer had crumbs. The water filter was on red, had to call for a new filter. Well supplied in kitchen and eating area, but there was no mop or full size broom to keep the place swept! Toasters bottom is missing . Had to call about clogged drain in bathroom and 3x about hot tub. Hot tub went murky midweek but company didn’t come midweek to service it as stated in description. Not impressed with linen service (would rather bring my own). Towels are small and thin and sheets are not soft. The owners are obviously well organized with labels on lights and we’ve owned beach houses and like to care for it as if our own. Excellent job on their guest book. Really nice storage rack in pantry. Would rather rent directly from them.

Lovely beachfront getaway

Overall we had a lovely time staying at the Zion house this past week. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained (pool maintenance visited while we were staying). And of course, the beach was beautiful. Check in left a bit to be desired. Emails leading up to arrival emphasized that 4pm checkin could be delayed to 6 for housekeeping, and specifically requested not to arrive at the premises until receiving a text that the house was ready. So of course at 4 I got a text that the house was not ready and we proceeded to kill the next 2 hours. 6 came and went and I never heard that the house was ready. At 6:15 I called the emergency line and was told well it's after 6 so it must be ready. And it was. So that process was disappointing. I never received a response to the email I sent to the management company about this.... Barring the checkin snafu, we otherwise had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend the house.
