About this property

Alpine Star Lodge - Roam Property Management

The Alpine Star Lodge is surrounded by aspen trees and beautiful mountain views, with from the door access to forest trails for all of your outdoor adventures, summer and winter! It is a perfectly situated adventurers retreat, located in a quiet rural subdivision only 8 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the town of West Yellowstone.

The home offers a very cozy rustic Montana mountain cabin feel but offers all of the amenities of modern living. It also has plenty of room for a larger group with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and has everything you'll need for your best home cooking. The dining room has a large table that seats up to 10 comfortably, and there are also two outdoor picnic tables and a BBQ grill for meals that are best when enjoyed outside.

The living room offers a flat screen HD TV with satellite service and a Bose stereo system, along with games and a library of DVD movies.

A wrap-around covered porch with rockers is a favorite spot for enjoying the morning and evening light. There's also a lovely love seat swing for those so inclined, and a fire pit with log-plank bench seats. Smores anyone?

The lodge has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located on two levels. The main level has the kitchen, dining, and living rooms along with one bedroom containing a queen bed and access to the main level bathroom. The upper level has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a California King. The bathrooms are not attached to the bedrooms. One bathroom has a tub and one has a shower.

If you need even more room, we have another similar sized home, the Blue Spruce Cabin, on an adjacent lot that would create a cozy next door situation with a group of up to 24 guests!

There is plenty of room in the driveway to park snowmobile or boat trailers!

*Although 4 wheel drive is not required to get to the house, we definitely recommend it for our area from November - April, as road conditions are often "snowpacked and icy".

Wonderful Stay!
We had a great stay at the cabin with our 5 adults and 3 teens. The cabin's cell & wifi coverage is limited, but that was expected. We used the landline to make a reservation for ATVs in town because service was spotty - so the landline was nice to have! Clean place with a well appointed kitchen. We spent lots of time on the patios! Overall, would stay there again.

Great Stay!
Stayed for 4 nights while visiting Yellowstone. Location is close enough to be a quick trip to the gate but away from the downtown. Enough space for our family of 7 adults - big dining table, enough bedrooms, everything we needed. A fave was the fire pit outside and the beautiful night sky. Also close to the local rodeo if you are interested. Roam management were great - answer any questions very quickly and made the check-in and out easy. We would stay again!

A bit of heaven among the Aspens
Firstly, Hostess Mindy went over and beyond helping us. I preferred a feather instead of a foam pillow for my injured neck and reached out to her. Within a hour I had 2! For my family of 7 gathering from all over the globe, reuniting in this spacious living room, dining room and kitchen was the best. Furnishings offered comfort and ease for all of us to sit together in the living room to watch one of the house CDs. A River Runs Through It. One cannot be in this area without reseeing this film in the evening. It is closely located near the West Yellowstone entrance as well as having a wonderful exploring trail into the wilderness at the end of the street. House has all basic kitchen ingredients to eat your brought food as well as clean up afterwards. Over and beyond, upon leaving, 2 days later, Mindy offered to go through the discarded trash in hopes of finding some accidentally discarded jewelry. No one I know would ever offer to do that. I only wish I was still there in that home now! Thank you Mindy!

Beautiful September Stay
We had great time in Alpine Star Lodge. Plenty of room. Plenty of comfort. We had all the conveniences in our cabin. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The quiet beauty and peaceful surroundings made our stay one to remember.
