Authentic Costa Rica

Esterillos is certainly a quiet little spot without the buzz of all the tourists destinations. Our family had a very relaxing time here. The property was quiet, clean, and steps from the beach and easy to walk to the super and some great restaurants. The surf break out front of the house is great for intermediate surfers (be sure to chat with Brett for the local knowledge).

Beach beauty

This property was perfect for our stay in the Esterillos Oeste area! There are 2 bedrooms - one upstairs with an attached ensuite and the other downstairs also with access to a washroom. The property consists of 4 individual buildings in a gated yard. Also on the property is a pool - which we didn’t think we would use with the ocean so close but we ended up spending quite a bit of time lounging in the shade around the pool as well as in the pool. The property is not right on the beach but is only about 50 steps off it - just enough to feel like beach front but be away from some of the noise of the beach. We really appreciated the air conditioning in the house - a unit in each bedroom and one in the kitchen/living area. Beach towels were provided - a nice touch. The kitchen is well equipped but most disposable supplies such as coffee, sugar, salt, paper towels need to be purchased by the renters. There is a on-site manager in case you have problems or questions. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is kept very clean. Having a washer and dryer available was a bonus!
