The only problem we had was that we couldn't stay longer. The location was perfect for what we wanted, the hosts were extremely friendly and communicated well, and the site description was highly accurate. Was able to hand-feed a monkey from the front porch one morning, and saw four scarlet macaws flying too. It was our first trip to CR, and I certainly hope it will not be our last. When we come back, we will have no reservations staying at this property again. Thank you for having us.

Amazing Stay!

We had a lovely time and it was as lovely as the pictures. The managers were great to work with and the LOCATION is amazzzzing!!! Monkeys every day, insane wildlife and the beach is only steps away. Definitely going back!

Beautiful, secluded, I didn't want to leave.

My family of 5 loved this spot! It's well located, a reasonable drive to many attractions but still private enough to have long stretches of beach to yourself. Stephanie and Peter have covered every last detail for you, their notes were essential reading for getting the most out of our time there. Absolutely recommend this wonderful property!

Secluded, away from the city. Nice to have the empty beach right by the house. We will stay here again.

Beautiful home

Love, love, LOVED that the monkeys come visit every day!Grandkids had so much fun watching them, the iguanas, and playing in the pool. Everything was in perfect working order and communication was seamless. Highly recommend!

Private Paradise

This was the perfect home away from home. The house and property are well maintained and completely private. Whether you're sitting in the backyard or on the front porch overlooking the ocean, the view was beautiful. We would definitely love to stay here again..

Great property and great location if you want a get away that's not at a resort and lets you experience more of the real Costa Rica! Loved being across from the beach! Surf was rougher than usual, but we made the most of it. House was perfect for the five of us and was a great base for our excursions. Daily monkey visits were very entertaining too! Overall loved the house and Deb and Deems! Definitely would stay here again... just be prepared for a bumpy beach road!

Great beach house

Good restaurants and activities near by. Great snacks welcome pack. Monkey did show up on one day. Sloth in back yard tree. Communicating great , managers are pros.

Great house, great beach, great pool!

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Dos Gatos. The location is perfect, the house is very well furnished and comfortable, the deck is fantastic. We were 4 adults, 4 teens and we had plenty of room for everybody. I recommand this house to everybody who wants to relax in a great spot as well as visiting the central part of the Pacific coast.

Fantastic VRO

House was clean organized, everything you need. Location was great, right across form ocean, monkeys in trees daily. Dogs baking was a little annoyance, but not terrible. I definitely would stay here again,

Dos Gatos

The house is in a wonderful remote location right across from the beach. The setup is perfect for a family with the great room and master upstairs and three rooms downstairs. The patio had a great view of the ocean and has a great spot to view the wildlife. The was a great well maintained

Tropical paradise

Beautiful house with ocean views, monkeys in the yard and iguanas everywhere. Friendly locals and good food close by. Boogie boarding right out front. Peter was very responsive to every request. Great location inbetween everywhere we wanted to visit.

Perfect location!

Great house for two families traveling together. House had plenty of space to spread out. We saw iguanas, monkeys, macaws, and crabs from the house. Perfect sunsets on the beach each night. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool. An ideal spot for daily excursions including Manuel Antonio National Park and zip lining. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful experience in Parrita in December of 2025. The house was perfect, beds comfortable, lots of towels and everything you could ever need in the kitchen. The property is spectacular. The pool and the landscaping just so beautiful. We had little visitors every day (iguanas and monkeys) with whom we shared our breakfast! The location is perfect - far enough outside of town to have lush vegetation and wildlife all around and close enough to town and restaurants - just a quick car ride away. The beach goes for miles and is basically deserted with spectacular sunsets and warm waters. We had a delightful quiet week, and Debbie was right there for anything we needed! Thank you for being so helpful and welcoming! We were even invited to a New Year's party with Debbie's friends and had a great time. Thank you Debbie for inviting us! Highly recommend Villa dos Gatos! LOVED it..!! Will be back.

Beach Villa Stay

We stayed at the Villa for 9 nights and really enjoyed everything about the place. Beach and pool were great. Close to town for supplies but still far enough to feel remote. Tons of wildlife right beside the Villa. It was really easy to communicate with Peter about the stay and he made it simple to check into the Villa. The A/C was definitely needed as it was quite hot during our stay. We would recommend and already have to friends and family.

Memorable stay at Palo Seco

We stayed as 2 couples for a full week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The pool area was a great place to relax. We also spent time on the beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean. We walked on the beach while meetinbb go hardly no one. When we encountered a problem with hot water response was quick (though not resolved but understandable). A great stay! We hope to return!

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Dos Gatos. The house was spacious enough for our 2 families (4 adults + 3 teenagers). The secluded beach was a wonderful place to enjoy this special area. The waves were great for surfing everyday. The local restaurant suggestions from the owners were helpful as well as nearby excursions. The area is a perfect place to get away from the busier towns of Jaco and Quepos. We would definitely come back to Villa Dos Gatos and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a relaxing stay on this beautiful coast.
