The Space: Experience ideal lakeside life at the Downtown Lakefront Retreat—located directly in front of Lake Coeur d'Alene with Coeur d’Alene City Park and Fort Sherman Playground right across the street. In the highly sought-after Fort Grounds neighborhood, you'll be just steps from the beach, the park, and you’ll be within easy walking distance to miles of public beaches and the heart of downtown Coeur d’Alene. This home is truly in a dream location!
No car is needed when you stay here, but you still have options with garage parking for two, complete with an electric car charger, and off-street parking for up to three more cars.
The home itself is just as alluring as the prime location. You’ll enjoy plenty of style and space in this two-lever rancher with brand new mattresses recently added for every bed in Spring 2024. Upon entering through the front door, you'll find an open living and dining area with comfortable seating, a fireplace, Smart TV, and views of both the park and the beach. The wooden dining table seats six beside a beautiful wall of built-in cabinets and granite-top buffet. Continue down the tiled hall to find a large, open kitchen with granite countertops, high-end appliances, a wet bar, and a breakfast table with additional seating for four. Here you'll find access to the side patio with lounge chairs and outdoor dining for four with an umbrella for shade.
Around the corner, the master bedroom awaits with a king bed with new mattress and topper, desk and storage space, extra seating, and views of the lake. An ensuite bathroom boasts granite counters with a double sink, a large tiled shower, and a walk-in closet. You'll find a half bath across the hall.
Across from the kitchen, a den awaits with cozy seating, a desk space, and a full bath. Continue down the hall to find the back patio through the glass sliding door where outdoor dining for six awaits beside a beautiful, vase water feature fountain. Kick back while dinner sizzles on the grill or venture out to the private hot tub, perfect for relaxing on a crisp evening.
A washroom with a full-sized washer and dryer, sink, and plenty of counter and cabinet space awaits at the end of the hall. Then, round the stairs to the lower level where even more space allows for play and more guests.
A large entertainment room with Flatscreen TV and leather seating provides a great space for relaxing with your favorite movie or TV show. There's even a table with seating for two for all your late-night snacking. Continue down the hall to find a full bathroom with a standing shower, a large bedroom with a King bed and smart TV, a room with two twins, and a large room with a queen bed, extra seating and a desk.

This house is fantastic! Steps away from the beach and one of the best playgrounds we have ever been to. This house certainly is not short on amenities and space. Our only two issues and why I only gave 4 stars were the mattresses were past their prime and could use an updating. The other issue is when downstairs, you hear every footstep upstairs. Normally not an issue, but 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs.

Location, location, location! We absolutely loved staying here. Home is right off the city beach, park, and a short walk to downtown for your morning coffee or dinner.
Our two family stayed in this home and we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, at the park and relaxing out front looking at the beautiful scenery.

Fourth time staying at the house because it is comfortable with a great location -- on the lake, on the park and walking distance to the CDA Resort and town. Fun in summer and winter! A great stay as always!!
This large and comfortable home is a great gathering place to enjoy the lakeside city of Coeur D'Alene, ID. We held a family reunion in the house and its location was an easy few blocks to downtown stores and restaurants, as well as parks, walking trails on Tubbs Hill, the marina and the city beach. We really enjoyed our stay!
Property is in a great location. Walk to everything! Back patio was wonderful and private. While the house is still located steps from the beach. Could not ask for a better stay.

Not well taken care of..had to call manager about windows not being clean, landscape extremely overgrown, Teflon pans that were scratched to extreme, refrigerator not working properly...a few other things as well....could not have asked for better location!!!
The house was very nice and the kitchen was well appointed. The hot tub was a great addition. The location is perfect for enjoying the views and happenings around CdA!
This home is cozy and comfortable. It felt like going to stay at Grandma's house. It was clean with comfortable beds. The location is perfect if you enjoy nature. We enjoyed walks on the beach as well as walks in the park. We look forward to staying in this home again.
We went to CDA to golf and hang out with family. We brought our dogs and the back yard was perfect for them. The house was walking distance to town and right next to a park. There was plenty of space and even a garage.

Father’s Day weekend in CDA. It slept everyone great, we needed 4 bedrooms. We cooked breakfast and grilled steaks and house provided everything we needed. Loved walking downtown. Great house to people watch from as you are right on the lake and the park. Definitely would stay here again.
This home has a beautiful location right across the street from Lake Couerd’alene. The size of the home held 8 of us comfortably.There are three bedrooms downstairs but only one restroom. There is an extra full bath upstairs, but kind of an odd location. We really enjoyed the location of the house and could walk so many places. We thought an upgrade in kitchen pans would be great.
Love the location and all the house inside and out.We stayed at this home 2 years ago and loved it.We tried to get it on Mothers day it was not available.
Next year we'll have to reserve it earlier so we can do it on Mothers day.

We had a great time at this beautiful home. This location was perfect for our family gathering. January is not a typical tourist time so we were not here for any activities offered by CDA. We enjoyed this home and the spaciousness for our time to relax and catch up. There was easy access to walk in the park next door and short drives to stores. The view of the lake was peaceful and beautiful. We would like to return sometime in the warmer weather to enjoy outdoor activities and the hot tub.up.
Great house! Perfect for a family with small kids. Fenced back yard. Conveniently located to downtown and lake. Great park next door. Cable did not work in the living room. Upgrade to satellite would be nice.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, right at the lake. Our son enjoyed the amazing park right across the street & we all enjoyed walking on the beach across the street. It's perfect walking distance to all the downtown shopping & dining too. The house was clean & had plenty of space, plus a perfect yard for our toddler, & a hot tub! The house was also full of games for a family to play, perfect for rainy or cold days. & just open the curtains to take in the beautiful view of the lake & mountains.
We had a great time, the location is perfect and we walked into town several times. Loved the park across the street and the playground for our grandkids. The house is somewhat dated but we didn't mind, the baseboard heaters are a bit loud but once we understood the sound it was ok.
