Rosebud 22 - A perfect getaway for family & friends to gather. Enjoy downhill & cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, fishing, wildlife watching (even from the back deck). Spectacular Montana mountain beauty everywhere w/ Yellowstone National Park only 51 miles distant. This comfortable, 5-bedroom, 4-bath log home sleeps 10-12. There are (3) Master Suites w/ en suite baths and (2) Queen bedrooms, plus a handcrafted log bunk-bed. The main level Great Room is book-ended by a Wolf kitchen stove and a Gallatin River stone faced, wood burning fireplace. Enjoy the expansive & private decks in the summer and a soothing hot tub spa year-round. The lower level family room includes a legacy crafted log pool table, 2nd fireplace, TV and wet bar. Literally ski-in, ski-out via the Bozeman Trail, 30’ from the hot tub. Professional on-site management is included.

Very clean and everything was in working order and as presented. It was close to the main resort ski area which made activities really easy. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Big Sky.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The host was very helpful from the start and very accessible. The cabin was well appointed and very comfortable.This is a true ski-in/ski-out. Simply ski out from the hot tub area on Rosebud access to the White Otter lift in the morning and Bozeman Trail to Rosebud access to come home. Great stay and would definitely go back.

Amazing stay!

Our group of 9 loved staying at this property for our amazing week at Big Sky. The ski in/out access was great. The house was stocked with everything you’d need, was very comfortable, and provided a wonderful home base for our ski vacation. Plenty of space for everyone-the teenagers had their own space, too. Communication with the host was easy. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking for an on mountain amazing stay.

We had a great trip and thoroughly enjoyed this property. Everything was as-advertised. The ability to ski out the back door in the morning and back again at the end of the day made this property extremely memorable. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful cabin, well outfitted with eclectic and personal charm as well as plenty of amenities. The wood burning fireplace was amazing after long days of skiing and the house was stocked with plenty of dried wood. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and the ski in/out access was the icing on the cake. Communication with the owner was extremely prompt and enjoyable. Common areas were great for our families to gather in over the holiday and local restaurant suggestions by the owner were top notch! The Big Sky Resort shuttle is available at the door in a matter of minutes with the convenient app, which was great for our non-skier to meet us in the village area without having to find parking. It is obvious this is a well loved family home and not just a rental property. We are honored and grateful the owners shared it with us! Only regret is not making this a longer portion of our holiday trip because we all wanted to go back as soon as we left!

Fantastic ski in/ ski out

We had a fantastic stay with 6 adults and 6 children ages 6-8. The house configuration was perfect for all adults to have an equal suites. We cooked every meal and found the kitchen to be well equipped to cook for a group. The ski in ski out location cannot be beat, right off of bozeman trail and rosebud loop! Highly recommend!

We were 7 friends going on our annual ski ski and we had a great time in this house. Richard was a great host. He was easy to connect with and responded immediately if I had a question. I highly recommend this house as it’s in great condition and the location can’t be beat.

Ski week in Big Sky

This house was a great place for a family stay - ski in ski out. My adult children loved the mountain. It is a short drive to the base. House was well supplied with towels, soap, toilet paper and the kitchen had ample supplies for cooking and family dinners. We cooked every night because it was very difficult to get out on the roads with the amount of snow that came down every day.

Fabulous property!

We rented this home with another family for a total of 4 adults and 5 teens. It was PERFECT! The home was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and our host could not have been any more helpful. Easy ski in/ out even for the novice skier. Will be back for sure!!!

Overall this Powder Ridge cabin was just as advertised. We had a few issues during our stay, but the property manager was on top of everything and the owner even called me personally to make sure we were happy. The ski-in/out was a top selling point - and good even without a ton of snow (need to update the ski-in instructions - but once you know what to look for, easy peasy). We loved the wood burning fireplace. Couch in bottom level is not full sized, fyi. Big Sky is a favorite of ours and loved finding this gem to use for the week.

Perfect home for a family or group of friends!

Our family, 8 of us, my husband and I and our adult children in their 20’s so enjoyed our time at this home. The home is beautiful and well taken care of. The kitchen has all you need to cook and even has the extras like spices, pan spray, paper towels, trash bags, plastic wrap, etc. The communication with the owner was great! I had so many questions and Rich was quick with answers and so helpful! The home is a ski-in and out, just walk out the back door and ski down a little bit to the ski lift. We had tons of snow when there, so it was easy to ski in and out. I’m not sure how it would be if there was less snow. It is a close drive to the base if needed. I would not hesitate to rent this home; you will love it!!

We first came to Big Sky in 2002, purchasing our original cabin the following year. Our growing family – now 13 strong – had the present Homestead Log Cabin constructed several years later. Elegant mountain furnishings were selected from Montana's skilled artisans. Our family has had many fun and memorable visits at the Powder Ridge cabin over the years. Just recently, we decided to make it available to others on a limited basis. We hope you enjoy your time in Montana with 22 Rosebud as your home base.

Why they chose this property

When choosing this property, the developer allowed us first selection of the locations in newly developing Powder Ridge Phase 3; we chose this site because it had the best ski access, the most privacy and featured the largest, Powder Ridge model - the “Homestead”.

What makes this property unique

Truly ski-in, ski-out. Step out the back door of the lower level and into your skis. Ski 30' on to the Bozeman Trail, then down to the White Otter Chair Lift - ride lift to top, ski down into the Big Sky Mountain Village and the Resort’s Base lifts. When returning after a day of skiing, take the Swift Current high-speed bubble lift; exit far right, skiing down the mountain, staying to left and following signs to Powder Ridge Cabins. At "Lower Morning Star" run, veer towards the Powder Ridge Cabin-Phase 3 signs. There is a map in cabin showing returning home directions if needed. You can ski down right onto the hot tub deck, dismount, grab a refreshment and prepare to soak...
