Lake house

This lake front property is a hidden gem and Roberta is a very thoughtful host. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We will look to stay here again when we travel to Michigan to visit my mother- in -law.

Relaxing Weekend at the Lake

Great getaway spot on Union Lake! House had everything we needed and the owner was helpful and responsive. Beautiful views from the house and deck. Quiet and cozy at night. Great location for Kayaking! We spent many hours on the lake and connecting rivers. Thankful we could bring our two dogs along with us. They had a great time as well!

Relaxing long weekend retreat

Cute and cozy. Exactly as pictures show. Waterfront ideal! Fishing off private pier was outstanding! Using kayaks on such a calm and peaceful lake makes for great exercise or just seeing nature! Deck with awesome view! Fire pit perfect way to end the days! Couple of personal touches by owner were so appreciated! Communication A+! Would recommend for families or a couple or four adults (like we were), very comfy pull out couch.

Clean, Peaceful Lake Life

We were greeted with wine and our favorite snacks as we walked in the door. Our dog was equally happy with the fenced in yard. Robert was friendly, and the trailer felt more like a small home because it was so clean and was full of everything we needed plus more. She was able to get us access to a rowboat as well as kayaks. The view is beautiful and the deck is peaceful and quiet all day long, but especially early morning and early evening. Roberta provided us with a fun and relaxing vacation lakehouse.

We had a wonderful weekend! Super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was spotless. View from home and deck was fabulous! Owner friendly and helpful. We most appreciated being able to have our beagle, Buddy, with us. Highly recommend!!!

I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in the small town of Union City, Michigan. After High School I moved on to a career in IT. I was always a hands on person, often looked upon with curious eyes, as I was often cutting holes in my walls. Then fixing them up with my own home improvement spin. So in 2020 I saw this property on Union Lake while visiting family. I decided to take a chance and put my skills to the test. With the help of my two sisters, we created this beautiful retreat. After it was finished I stood there looking out at the lake and decided, this place is too magical not to share with others. So I decided to put it on Vrbo.

Why they chose this property

Its a vintage 5 Star Airbnb property with many new modern additions. It’s clean and beautifully done inside and out. (So I think). It’s quaint and homey. Simply beautiful.

What makes this property unique

Once inside, I knew I was home. I loved that it was a vintage trailer and it had not been used for many years. The previous owners kept it for an investment, and took good care of it.
