Villa with swimming pool in the hills above Lodève

The villa, backed by the foothills of the Larzac, dominates the town of Lodève. You can enjoy an exceptional view of the surrounding area.
It is located due south, in a quiet area, without vis-à-vis, on a plot of 2,000 M2.
It is possible to park up to three cars on the land which is closed by an electric gate.

On the grounds, you will find a large swimming pool of 10m by 5m, including parasol and sunbeds. The swimming pool, treated with chlorine, is about 1m60 deep and secured by a bar cover.
Two terraces, one with an outdoor dining table, the other with an outdoor lounge, are located on either side of the house.

The house has two levels; Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
On the ground floor, you will find an entrance hall that leads to a fitted kitchen, a living/dining room, two bedrooms, a toilet and a bathroom.
the ground floor is composed of a laundry room, a bedroom/veranda with a toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, a hood, a two-bowl sink, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a fridge/freezer. You will also have all the necessary kitchen utensils. Please note that there is no dishwasher.
In the laundry room, you will have a washing machine, a small freezer and an extra gas stove.
The house is not air-conditioned.
NB: We do not charge a cleaning fee.

Please leave the accommodation clean before you leave (dishes done, bins emptied and accommodation left in a good condition).

If you prefer not to do the cleaning of At the end of your stay, a cleaning fee of €100 will be requested on arrival.

There are many hikes in the area, including one directly from the villa. We will be happy to tell you some of them.
The Salagou lake is 10 minutes away by car. It offers different activities, sailing, canoeing, swimming, etc...
The Vis gorges are also a magnificent place offering water activities (40 minutes away).
For a good hour's journey, you can also find water activities in the Tarn and Dourbie gorges.
You will find several exceptional villages in the surrounding area, Saint Guilhem le déserts (Devil's Bridge) 30 minutes away, the Couvertoirade 20 minutes away, ...
Finally, the beaches of Languedoc are only an hour's drive away.

We speak some English, German and Spanish.

We live in an adjacent house. We will be able to welcome you on arrival and give you all the information about your stay.
We will take care of the maintenance of the swimming pool during your stay as well as the watering of the flowers and plants.
Please note that we have several cats and they will not fail to come and see you. If you can't stand cats, I urge you to find another house.
Last clarification, on the ground floor, there is a garage, a storage room and a cellar that are not part of the rental. The same goes for a shed located on the right side of the house
