So many little details! My granddaughter loved the child's room!! It even had a built in nook with a bed for her doll. Nice big Jacuzzi tub. Loved our time here. Thank you!!
This property is so much more wonderful in person than what is shown in pictures. The host provides so many necessities, thinking of the needs of travelers. I cannot wait to come back again!

Thank you, Angela for staying at our vacation rental. We greatly appreciate your groups respect and cleanliness. We look forward to the opportunity to host your group again in the future. Thanks again, Mark
The house itself is nice. But the beds are too small. Its really tough to sleep in a double or full size bed with your spouse when you’re used to a king size bed and the mattresses are either worn out or poor quality. We ended up leaving a night early because we all slept so poorly during our stay. All the interior doors squeak, making it difficult to move around and not wake others up. And the yard could really use a mowing.

We’re sorry your experience was less than expected. I was there personally to clean and didn’t notice the interior doors being noisy. I will look into that in more detail. You did not check out a day early, but in actuality left over 9 hours late. Check out was to be at 11AM Saturday 8/30. Your party didn’t leave until 8:20PM. The property is intentionally left un-mowed to promote wildlife. I can’t please everyone I guess.
This is a lovely home, updated appliances, great kitchen--all the amenities you need located in a secluded, peaceful place. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the home was in a more 'renovation phase' than I expected (entrance is to basement, other entrance didn't have stairs yet, one bedroom upstairs locked off, the upstairs bedroom closet was full of clothes etc.) but all of this wasn't a big deal to us, just maybe ask beforehand if the home is totally ready. The basement has a lot of sofas, TV, and one bedroom with rugs on a concrete floor, huge laundry room and modern, updated bathroom. Up the stairs you find the 2nd bedroom and an open concept, very modern kitchen and living area, TV, really lovely. No wifi issues and everything worked beautifully. Great view from any room, trails to walk on (be vigilant, definitely wildlife very close by) deer visitors daily! Our dog had a sniffing extravaganza. The property is somewhat secluded, but between Hibbing and Grand Rapids, easy to get to town for groceries. Owners very responsive and overall I would recommend this home to anyone--it'll be even more amazing if a 3rd bedroom opens up and both entrances are usable. There were work vehicles and materials outside, but it didn't deter us from enjoying the view and surely that is a temporary situation. Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway in nature, with modern amenities!

Thanks for staying at our property and thanks for any recommendations as to further improve our guest experiences. Although we’d rather have recommendations directly communicated to us rather than through the review process. Yes, there are things we are finishing as this is a new build, not a renovation as described in your review. This property is also listed as a 2 bedroom 2 bath on both platforms and the 3rd bedroom and closet were to be locked off from use as my daughter and I also use this property and these areas contain our personal items. I truly apologize if this was an inconvenience to you and you feel that our property is at all misrepresented. Id also like to recommend not leaving animals unsupervised as there was 2 large scratches left on our lower patio door. Thanks again.
