The house is centrally located and is minutes to all that downtown Joshua Tree has to offer while also being just a 5 minute drive to the Joshua Tree National Park main gate entrance.

Enjoy sunrises on the porch, afternoon dips in the pool (Closed for the Winter), and end each evening around the outdoor fire pit or swinging in the hammock under the stars.

Dipping Pool: Please note, our 17” deep x 8’ wide outdoor pool is a refreshing summer delight and is currently open! It's usually open from early May through the end of September. If you have any additional questions regarding the dipping pool, please feel free to ask.

The house has plenty of parking in the long driveway out front and can easily accommodate 3-4 cars.

The village is also a short walk from the house.

The Joshua Tree park entrance is a 5min drive from the house as well.

Respectful Living:

Personal Touch: Remember, you're staying in a home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with the same respect as the guests before you.

Responsive Assistance: Should any problems arise, I am committed to responding as quickly as possible. However, keep in mind that no one is living on-site 24/7.


House Rules and Community Interaction:

Quiet Hours and Smoking Policy: We have quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM and maintain a strict no-smoking policy throughout the property.

Neighborhood Culture: As part of a close-knit community, we encourage guests to interact positively with our neighbors, embracing the local culture.

Fireworks of any kind are not permitted on the property. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors.


Pet-Friendly Policy:

Dogs Welcome: Agave Oasis is dog-friendly! Your furry friends are welcome here, with a gated backyard providing a safe space for them to play. Our ask, please pick up after your pet and dispose of their waste into the appropriate outdoor receptacle.

Limitations: Please note that we have a 2 dog maximum to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests and the pets themselves.


Environmental Consciousness and Desert Living:

Eco-Friendly Practices: In line with our low-tox lifestyle, we use environmentally friendly cleaning products and request your support in being eco-conscious.

Water Usage and Wildlife: Mindful water usage is appreciated in our desert location. Also, while wildlife sightings are part of the desert charm, please maintain a respectful distance.


Property Management and Safety Measures:

Maintenance and Emergency Response: Non-emergency issues will be addressed post-departure to respect your privacy. For emergencies, I will take action ASAP. We provide a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and emergency contact numbers for your safety.

Security Camera: There is a camera above the front door and doorbell for your protection. Any tampering with the cameras will result in immediate eviction without refund.


Seasonal Considerations and Supplies:

Pool Closure and Weather: Our dipping pool is closed during winter (Sep-May). Be prepared for varying desert temperatures.

Supply Starter Kit: We provide a starter kit of supplies like toilet paper and paper towels. For extended stays, you may need to purchase additional supplies.


Uncontrollable Circumstances:

Acts of God: No refunds are provided for weather-related events, natural disasters, power outages, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Prior to your stay, we require you to sign and agree to our Rental Conditions. We may also require you to complete our Pre-Arrival Form.
