Our two night stay was comfortable, relaxing and spectacular. We loved the setting, views , hikes and pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommend it to others who want to enjoy a fabulous time in Joshua Tree. The host Eddie was great and responsive. We'll be back.

Staying here was an absolute highlight of my trip to Joshua Tree. The location is perfect, placing you right in the heart of the desert landscape, and the house itself is impeccably designed with a great eye for detail. Coming back to the Jacuzzi and spa after a long day of hiking was the ultimate luxury. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a seamless, relaxing getaway. The host Eddie checked in on us made sure we were comfortable made sure we didn’t need anything. He let us check in early. Everything about our experience was perfect.

Great Joshua Tree Retreat

Casa Altura has amazing views, a terrific location and nice amenities. The pool is wonderful and got a lot of use during my stay since the weather was perfect. The bedding is super comfortable allowing for restful nights. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you'll need. Eddie is a great Host and made sure all was well during my stay. I'll be returning next year!

I visit the Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree area annually and have done so for over 10 years now. Had a bit of a hiccup with the AC this time but the host was quick to respond and accommodating. The pool was very clean and a joy to be in. Recommend to those looking to relax and take advantage of the pool in the heat.

We had a nice time staying in Joshua Tree at the Castle Altura. Everything was as described. We really enjoyed the pool and the hiking in Joshua Tree not to mention all the wildlife.

We stayed at Casa Altura over the 4th of July with my wife, mother-in-law, and our dog, Max, and had an incredible time. The house had everything we needed for a perfect desert retreat. We spent most of our stay relaxing in the pool, and the views from every room were absolutely stunning. Even in the summer heat, the air conditioning worked flawlessly and kept the house comfortable.Eddie was an exceptional host. He was attentive before, during, and after check-in, making sure every detail was covered. His instructions for operating the home's amenities—including the pool, spa, and other devices—were clear and easy to follow, which made our stay completely stress-free.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to returning to Casa Altura. Highly recommend!

OMG, I cannot rave how much this property was perfect for our Joshua Tree National Park stay, minutes away from Western enterance, making quick access to park as easy as possible. Easy check in, accessible owner, everything label and accurate description, I will base all VRBO properties compared to this gold standard.

Beautiful views from the main living room/dining area/kitchen, as well as both bedrooms! Big windows will make you never want to miss a sunrise! Has all the amenities. We took advantage of the spa for nighttime star gazing. It's very close to the national park, as well as restaurants and shops. Eddie was very attentive and helpful. We definitely want to stay there again!

Joshua Tree trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Such a gorgeous view and a great location close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Our host provided everything we needed and was great with communication. Hope to come back when the weather is cooler.

Excellent experience

The location of the property was great. Very close to the park and to places to eat and shop. The view was amazing and we loved the pool. The property's host was very communicative and helpful and responded immediately to questions.
