Welcome to one of the most historic homes in Two Harbors. We are conveniently located within walking distance to beautiful Lake Superior, Castle Danger Brewery, the Two Harbors Lighthouse, and much more. You will love our spacious home with 4 private bedrooms, 2 living areas, 2 dining areas, grand front porch, back breakfast porch, and private back yard. This home accommodates groups up to 9 people, and we take same day bookings! Free offsite snowmobile/UTV trailer parking near state snowmobile/recreation trail (DM for details).

The Historic Residence of Dr. Budd is 4 BR, 2000 sq ft home with a no-pet policy. The main bathroom and only shower are on the 2nd floor. The 2nd toilet is in the basement. This home has been completely restored with period wood work and hardwood floors. The front porch and private backyard are favorites of our guests. What makes this property unique

This home is very unique in that it holds so much history. Dr. Budd was a very positive force in the community. Many community members talk today about how Dr. Budd saved their parents or grandparents lives. Dr. Budd was a doctor skilled beyond his time, and he was also very community/civic minded. He was the county physician/coroner; he was the chief surgeon for the railroad; he brought the Carnegie Library to Two Harbors; he was one of the original founders of 3M; he was the president of the local gun club; he served in the state legislature; he arranged for local lakes to be stocked with fish; he was the Grand Marshal of the July 4th Celebration.
