Owners Jim & Sherry are super responsive in answering questions and ensure all the small things are covered to make your stay truly relaxing. House is beautiful, kitchen was well equipped, linens were luxurious and furniture super comfy. Game room was a huge hit for the kiddos. Boat house had lots of fun floats, kayaks, paddle boards, and even a few fishing poles. The ability to spread out in the house made it feel uncrowded, even with a lot of us there. We have rented other houses at SML and this one is by far our favorite. We will definitely be coming back!

Our hosts, Sherry and Jim, were very prompt to answer any questions we had. The accommodations fit our family’s needs perfectly. They had lots of water toys and sufficient life jackets for everyone. We especially liked the party house for some quiet time and shade. We saw lots of deer, osprey in a neighboring property and even a red fox came to visit. Our family enjoyed our time together at Sunset Paradise.

The property is great for an extended family. The grandkids were able to sleep in an area that was far enough from the night time action so they were not bothered, but close enough that everyone was comfortable. The home is well stocked with all your water toy needs, and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. We even had one unusual last minute request they were able to help us with.I would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful home! Our group of 8 adults and 6 children found the house to be a great fit for our annual multi-generational vacation. The hosts were attentive and the house clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We would love to return!

We loved this property! The owners were very easy to communicate with and checkin was straight forward. Our family celebrated our dad's 60th birthday here and it was perfect! Plenty of room for all the families to spread out and the house was very well equipped with everything we needed! You can tell the owners put a lot of care into this home. Our kids had so much fun swimming in the lake, had a blast with the kayaks and paddle boards and LOVED the float mat. The party dock was perfect for our babies/toddlers and those of us who wanted to be out at the lake but shaded. Everybody loved watching the ospreys that were nesting nearby. If we travel with a large group again, this rental would definitely be our first choice!!

This property was the perfect destination for everyone to arrive to with our groceries and never had to go anywhere else for our stay. There was plenty of space for cooking and eating together. The games downstairs and the lake kept everyone entertained. Highly recommend.

BEST HOME ON THE LAKE!

By far the best home we ever stayed in at the lake. Beautiful, clean, amazing lake view, absolutely perfect! The host is very responsive and made our stay excellent. We will definitely rent this home again.

Amazing family week

Beautiful & Peaceful

Wonderful hosts, who even delivered farm fresh eggs! The property is accurately named “Sunset Paradise” but no pictures prepare you for how amazing the sunsets truly are to watch. This was a magical, peaceful place of bonding and healing after our family lost multiple very important people. We plan to be back again!

Great property & location - even better than the pictures!

In addition to a beautiful location, the home was spacious and our family could spread out if we chose to. Rooms were inviting and beds very comfortable. The amenities were amazing - water toys, kitchen supplies, games, etc. We literally didn't leave the property, except for boating. Truly a great experience - one which we hope to repeat!
