We had a great time in Dunsmuir. Our host connected us with the best fly fishing guide and Chez Belinda was just as advertised. Can't recommend it highly enough!
The house was perfect for resting after a long days worth of adventures. It was clean and well stocked with all our needs. Communication with the owner was also good.
The cottage was very clean, smelled good, and had snacks and drinks ready for us upon arrival. The host was lovely and very efficient with communication. It is an older home, very charming, and beautifully decorated.
The stay was spacious and comfortable. It included many amenities that gave the place an authentic and homely feeling. The location is a block from Dunsimir’s main strip and also very accessible to mount shasta. Access to the stay was uncomplicated. Highly recommend!
This property is located conveniently to restaranrs and shops. You can easily walk to the main part of town. A short driving distance to both Castle Craggs State Park and McCloud Falls. Nicely stocked kitchen if you choose to cook. Matress was too soft for me which is something to consider if you have back issues.
Everything you could possibly need and Jessie was only a 3 minute response away. I will be scheduling all of my future trips to Dunsmuir around the availability of this property!!!
Very clean! Pantry is SUPER well stocked with all kinds of spices and condiments (that are well within their "use by" date). Jesse also provides a variety of complimentary snacks and drinks. The rooms are tastefully decorated and while the home slants a bit, it just adds some charm to the old home quirkiness.Jesse is very responsive and helpful. She answered my questions promptly, gave good advice and helped me out with a great solution.Having Netflix and Amazon Video was very nice. The only thing that could have made our stay better was to have a firmer mattress. The bed is very soft and we slid to the middle.
I wanted to go fishing for a couple of days on the upper Sacramento River. And staying in Jessie's house was just the ticket. It was small, clean and very easy to get to from the areas that I wanted to fish.
thanks,
Rene
Absolutely adorable house with everything you will need. Starting with Central AC for the hot summer days. It's as if the owner stepped away for a couple days and you moved in. There are essentials in all the cabinets and fridge and welcoming treats on the dining room table. House is meticulously clean, bright, cheery, and cozy. Location is wonderful for the many hikes in the area and strolling through the town of Mt. Shasta.
We had a wonderful stay. We loved all the conveniences! Snacks, coffee, creamer. All the little things made it special and easy to get comfortable right away. We would definitely stay again.
My husband and I visited with the purpose of hiking the area and having a peaceful week. This home was wonderfully cozy and had everything we needed for cooking in, playing games (and music!), and spending time together. Dunsmuir itself seems to have had a rough recent past, but has a nice grocery store and enough restaurants to feed anyone not wanting to cook at home. We walked around a little bit and felt safe, despite some of run-downness of the old town. We spent our three full days at different beautiful and epic hikes in the area and this was the perfect place to stay for Siskayou Lake, McCloud River Falls, Mossbrae Falls, and Castle Crags State Park hiking. We spent a lot of time in the home and it was very comfortable and we would stay here again!
This house is so cute! It was perfect for our trip to the area. The kitchen is capable of cooking a full meal, the dining area is perfect, and the bed is comfortable. We will be coming back here for our next trip to the area.
The cottage is very charming, and roomy. There are a variety of musical instruments and games to amuse guests - so much fun! Idea for a romantic getaway!
The location is central to Mt Shasta, Dunsmuir, and the headwaters of the Sacramento River, Shasta Lake, Ski Bowl, and so many beautiful, natural settings! We'll definite go back!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Chez Belinda. It's a very sweet bungalow, very clean, charming, comfortable, and well equipped. The location is also great. We enjoyed trying small local restaurants, and loved the surrounding nature. A wonderful respite.
We loved the house and location it had everything you need. Full kitchen and appliances, washer and dryer. Games, Dvd's and snacks. Nice front porch with table and chairs. We will definitely be back!!
Great little house with everything we needed! We cooked and had every tool we needed too! Great host gave us early access. Close walk to downtown…literally around the corner.

I am a Real Estate Broker-Owner who also manages a few properties for my clients. I love the Owners, and the properties I take care of. I tweak them to make everyone happy- am very hands on. It's not work. It's fun. I have been managing vacation rentals for 5 years now, I couldn't do this without my wonderful helpers who keep our places clean and ready for guests. It's a community thing. We all come together to make your visit to Mt Shasta as enjoyable as possible. We love that you choose one of our properties.
