About this property

Family friendly 3BR 2.5BA home near Sandy River

Minutes from world class skiing, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and all the outdoor activities Mount Hood is known for.

3 bedrooms with brand new mattresses, 2.5 bathrooms, and a full kitchen with the tools and appliances needed to make great meals.

Fast wifi Internet (and desk in the laundry room) for remote work, and a TV w/ streaming plus an arcade machine for play.

A 1 minute walk down neighborhood trails to the Sandy River, or hear it from the large back deck.

The home has external security cameras above the driveway, at the doorbell, on the side of the house facing the street, and in the garage to monitor the garbage. There is a sound monitoring device in the living room that only monitors decibel levels and does not record or broadcast.

Very clean and organIzed

This was a great location and had really nice kitchen supplies. There were lots of cozy blankets and the long table fit our group nicely. My husband had fun with the kids on the gaming system with the retro games. We felt well cared for with lots of little details to make our stay more comfortable!

This is my first time renting a home near mt hood, typically we stay at government camp. The house was clean. The open living room and kitchen was great. Kitchen had all the tools we needed. Check in process super easy and quick. Lots of pillows and soft blankets. There some games and puzzles that we did as a family. Totally would recommend. Thanks for an amazing stay.

We are a family from Oregon who loves to explore nature with our kids. This is our family vacation home on the mountain, where we come to enjoy the nearby river, and all of the activities on the mountain.

Why they chose this property

This home is in one of our favorite areas of the Mt Hood Villages. Far enough from the highway and close to the river so you don't get the usual auto noises all day and night, and low enough on the mountain to not deal with the worst of the worst storms. It's a short drive to Welches or Sandy, and to the top of the mountain to play at the many snow parks, lakes, and hiking trails. We've updated the home to fit our family, and other families looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay while enjoying the mountain.
