Wonderful historic little Log Cabin. Quiet and relaxing for a short getaway. Beautiful area and close to zigzag and Skyway which is a nice bonus.

A historic cabin steeped in charm and mystery. There’s something wonderfully timeless about this place, as though the walls are holding on to stories from another era. A beautiful, atmospheric retreat that feels a little outside of time.

I love the history of this cabin and really enjoyed seeing the craftsmanship of Henry Steiner up close and in person. Such a cozy, warm place to relax and get away from all the noise.

The log cabin is almost 100 years old, so don't expect much privacy for conversations, bathroom activities, walking around, or anything else. The beds were comfy and it had a funky charm. The nearby grounds and river are beautiful. Definitely a good stay for the price.

We loved our stay at Laughing Bear Cabin! It has a charming, historic feel, with thoughtful decorations that make it cozy and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need, and the upstairs bedrooms offer plenty of sleeping options. The stairs are steep, so that’s worth keeping in mind.The hot tub is away from the house a bit in the back tucked under the trees. It was such a peaceful place to unwind. Even with neighboring cabins nearby, everything felt quiet and relaxing. A lovely spot for a cozy cabin getaway!

We had an amazing and relaxing time at the Laughing Bear Log Cabin. There is something truly special about staying in a piece of history, and being a genuine Steiner cabin gives it a wonderful, soulful atmosphere that you just can't find in modern rentals. We love it so much that we return annually, and we deeply cherish our time here every single year. It is the perfect mountain escape, and we are already looking forward to our next visit to make more memories!

It was such a cute cabin. We enjoyed our stay .. lots of comfy beds , and having the ability to wash your clothes while staying there was top notch . We really appreciated all the tools, flashlights, and kitchen gadgets the cabin had for us to use. We used the hot tub a lot and it was amazing . 10/10 would stay here again.

It was functional for what we needed. The hot tub was amazing. The downstairs bed was small for two people. There is not a garbage disposal if you plan on cooking. Overall a relaxing place to be.

The cabin was really well made and interesting to see. The hot tub was super clean and worked well, and the fireplace was very nice. The roads in and out were a bit difficult to drive through, especially if you have a big car, but it was worth it.

Loved the great old log cabin vibe. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are upstairs, and the bedroom with just a double in it downstairs. Be aware of that if you have elderly, young, or unstable guests coming with you. Great location for great walks. I hear the hot tub was great. A great place for a relaxing getaway.

Very unique! Handmade log cabin nestled in the fairytale wood. There are many houses nearby but it feels very private. Great fire-pit and hot tub. We took day trips to lakes and hiking then returned to play games, cook and fall asleep to the sound of the river. Lots of room with extended family. Great for little kids who got the real PNW experience. Make sure to take a walk to find fairy doors. The host was helpful, responsive but not intrusive.

The hot tub was quite pleasant and clean. The wi-fi was very good. The vhs-dvd combo machine would not read the dvd movies we brought with us. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, unfortunately all the dishes needed to be washed before use.
