2 miles from the Killington town line and 8 minutes from the Access road; 45 minutes from Sugarbush & Okemo; an hour from Mad River Glen. This 5 bedroom/3 bath home has a Gas fireplace in a cozy living room with 50” smart HD television.Minutes away from winter activities such as: downhill skiing / snowboarding cross-country skiing snowshoeing snowmobiling and sleigh riding. Summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, and much more. Located 2.5 miles from Vermonts #1 public golf course (Green Mountain CC). Kitchen features: dish washer, microwave oven, full size refrigerator, conventional oven with 4 burner range double sink, pots and pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. Washer and dryer 2500 square feet. Has a large deck with hot tub, charcoal grill and gas grill. The house sleeps 14 people: The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bath (sleeps 2) with Jacuzzi tub and 50” smart TV. The secondary bedroom has a queen size bed(sleeps 2), third bedroom has 2 twin beds sleeps (2-4 people), bedrooms upstairs include a room with 3 twin beds and lots of floor space and other room has a full size bed (sleeps 2). House includes high speed Wi-Fi.

Great location

House was perfect with fresh paint job and comfortable beds. Location was perfect between Killington and okemo. We all had a great time skiing and then relaxing in the hot tub!

Good utilitarian property for fall leaf touring. Most everything worked ok, great for large family group but definitely not for someone desiring a fully furnished or decorated place.

Great experience 15 minutes from Killington!

Great cabin to stay at with a group of friends. Very clean and looks to be newly renovated. Hot tub and gas fireplace were great! 12 of us stayed here more than comfortably. Highly recommend much nicer than the pictures!

Family hiking trip

Spacious and nice location. The home met our needs. Basic home with some necessities lacking like soap, shampoo, washcloths, and paper towels. Coffee maker did not function well. Cooking utensils could use an upgrade. Needs a thorough cleaning and we noticed this right away upon arrival. Hot tub did not seem to work. No air conditioning, which should be clearly noted in the property description.

Perfect spot for a ski weekend with friends

My friends and I rented this spot over NYE weekend and had an absolute blast. The house was perfect. Very clean and plenty of space for everyone to have a comfortable stay. New hardwood floors made place feel bigger/cleaner. Hot tub was a great feature too! Owner was kind and welcoming and easy to get in touch with.

Great place for large groups!

This place was exactly what we needed for our Killington ski trip. There were 10 of us total, and it did not feel crammed at all. Only a 15 mins drive from the ski resort. Host was very nice and responded quickly to questions. A previous review mentioned this, but bring your own extra toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, as there wasn't any at the property.

Beautiful house, perfect location.

We have been renting homes seasonally summer/winter for many years, and rarely do we find a home that is so perfect and exactly as listed. This house is spotless, everything is new and there is plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is a perfect place to relax in front of the TV and fireplace after a long day outdoors. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful well cared for home. We will be back for sure. Thank you Sean for the hospitality!

Great place for ski home base

Perfect place for our group to ski at killington from. About 15 minutes to base. Everything was clean, kitchen well stocked with new pots/pans and plenty of anything we needed. Appliances new. Furniture new in main room too. Some listing pictures show older stuff that’s all been replaced. Highly recommend. Owner also very available to answer question. 5 stars.

Great stay for a large group of skiers!

This house was spread out nicely for 14 people as we didn’t feel cramped at all. It was comfortable clean. Very close to Killington which was great, and not too far of a drive to Okemo and Sugarbush. The owner Sean was easy to work with and very communicative when we had questions. The only complaints would be the numbers on the front door keypad stick and seem to be loose, the hot tub was greenish but the maintenance man did come the day before we left, and having to wash the laundry before leaving was unrealistic when everyone was using the linens/towels through the morning of checkout. The owner was understanding of the difficulties in doing that . Overall great house, location and we’d definitely recommend it!

Nice place!

Good location with lots of space for multiple guests, great for entertaining. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies and the hot tub worked well. The living room furniture is super comfortable and the gas fireplace makes it nice and cozy. Everything was clean and we appreciated that there were a lot of extra towels and blankets. We had a couple of issues come up during the stay but the owner was very responsive to our questions. A few things that would have made our stay better: a supply of necessities like paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. If the porch had been shoveled when we arrived. We did have some elderly visitors and the lack of railings on the front steps was a little bit of an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location and house, lacked cleanliness and communication

The property itself is well suited for a large group and only 14 min away from Killington. The hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes. We had to turn on the heater once we got there and wait for it to heat up, but that was not a big deal. There were plenty of kitchen amenities to cook meals at the house. That was about all that was positive about the house itself. Cleanliness of the property overall was not adequate, the host did not notify us that there would be wet towels drying all over the property when we arrived. Additionally, there were used condoms in the nightstand of one of the bedrooms. It is also not stated that there would be no toilet paper provided. We notified the host of these issues and was basically told “you should’ve asked and we would’ve told you”. The host had little sympathy for our situation and provided no remedies. The amount of bed spots is also mislisted, as the property only sleeps 11. The other areas would be a couch that does not pull out and no air mattresses. The beds are also uncomfortable. I would say it’s a nice house and location, if you’re okay with no check-in or check-out instructions, questionable cleanliness, and poor communication from the host.

Solid ski house for large groups

We came as a group of 9 adults for a ski weekend and enjoyed our stay. The house itself is no-frills, but clean. We comfortably fit all 9 of us at the large table off the kitchen for meals and in the living room for games. Beds were comfortable. The heating system kept it at a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils for a large group with clean and working appliances (including dishwasher). There was oil, salt, and pepper in the kitchen (along with some other spices). The hot tub was great - beautiful views! It was on but not warm when we arrived. The owner responded within an hour to have us flip the breaker off and back on and it worked fine after. Big tip: there is a low stock of paper towels (only one roll) and toilet paper (only one roll per bathroom). By the end of the trip, we were passing the final TP roll around and trying to conserve. I asked and the owner replied that it is intentional and stated in the listing, but I revisited the listing and cannot find this info. Communication was pretty good. Responses in about an hour. I would have appreciated a little more in advance (we heard nothing from the owner until only 3 hours before check-in - I was worried). Info about trash removal was posted on the fridge but seems to conflict with what the owner said. There was no info sheet provided for the house or check-out requirements, but other than that it was straightforward and we enjoyed our stay!

It's a place to stay

This house is the right size for big groups. In that respect, it matched our need for space. The affordability of the home was great. We appreciated the location, and it was a peaceful place to stay. The living room's new furniture was comfortable, and the dining table was convenient. Unfortunately, what this place lacked was attention to detail. We had to wash any dish, cup, pot, or pan we used to cook because they weren't clean. There was a layer of coffee grounds inside the cup cabinet. Additionally, we immediately had to go out to the store because there were no garbage bags except the one in the trash can, there was one hand soap, and very limited, 1-ply toilet paper. I reached out an asked about garbage bags, but they took several hours to reply, "Are there any under the sink?" And no, there weren't. Because it was a heat wave, we had to keep the windows open, but there was only one fan provided in the house to keep air movement, and it didn't have feet, so we had to prop it up to use it. The beds were like sleeping on a concrete slab. One of our party ended up sleeping on the couch and another rented a hotel room because of the combination of heat and uncomfortable beds. The grill was dirty, so we were unable to use it. We were able to use the hot tub once we figured it out. There were no instructions provided about the house or its amenities. We would likely never stay here again.

Respite in the woods close to golf and great food!

Our extended family enjoyed our stay in this well maintained home. The three first floor bedrooms (2) and two full bathrooms were ideal for the elderly people in our group. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub offered relief from the many challenging golf courses in the area. There isn't AC in this house, but, we packed some fans and were very comfortable at night. Tucked away off of the main road, this home offers additional bedrooms and a full bath upstairs - so the young adults had plenty of space to spread out and spend time together. It was ideal for our group and we relaxed and enjoyed all of the local golf courses, the ponds, and the terrific eateries in and around Killington, VT. Thank you for sharing this accessible and gracious space with us! So many terrific memories! The wi-fi was splendid and we enjoyed family movie nights. The affordable price has us thinking about booking again next summer!

My husband and I are huge golfers and skiers and both are available 10 minutes from our house. Also we love being on the snowmobile trails. VT trails are across the street. We also love the general stores and the VT experience.
