Please note that there is a one-bedroom, first floor unit in the back of the house (Anchors Away). This unit is for short term rentals and the guests have their own separate entrance and driveway. Guests staying here have no access to the patio, pool, or pool area. You can include this listing in with your reservation of Anchor House-ask us for details.
Dogs are allowed and need to be disclosed prior to booking. Pet fees apply. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN POOL or POOL AREA! A $250 cleaning fee will apply if any dogs enter the pool.
Bath towels and linens are included in the cleaning fee. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper for each bathroom, and a roll of paper towels per kitchen. Once used guests are expected to purchase their own paper items. Beach towels are not included.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS/UNAUTHORIZED OR UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED-Primary Guest must be at least 25 years old and present during the entire stay. Only registered/approved guests are allowed to be on the premises including the pool area. We do not allow for other visitors or overnight guests without prior approval from hosts.
Anchors Up and Anchors Down are two separate units and there is no interior stairwell that connects them. You need to go outside at either the back or front entrances to get to the other unit.
It is not uncommon to encounter insects such as palmetto bugs or wildlife in this tropical climate. While we take preventative measures to keep critters/bugs out with pest control, there is a possibility where one or two come through an opening. Please keep doors closed to help keep insects out.
NO SMOKING/VAPING INSIDE OR NEAR ENTRANCES: Please refrain from smoking/vaping in or around the house. Any smoking evidence will result in a $250 fee for odor removal.
There are 2 cameras in the front of the house, both in the top left corner and side of the front porch. They face the bottom porch and parking area and the side parking area. They may be recording at any time.
Please note that your stay can be during hurricane season. While we always hope for perfect weather, storms can occasionally disrupt travel plans. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip in case of unforeseen weather events. Refunds will ONLY be given for nights that fall under a mandatory evacuation order.
There is a charcoal grill is provided as a courtesy and we cannot guarantee its functionality. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill and providing their cooking supplies. The pool is cleaned once a week during non-peak and twice a week during peak season. You may see a person from the cleaning company cleaning the pool. We also have a landscaping company who mows the lawn and you may see him on the premises. Members of our maintenance team can also be present on the property. Guests are responsible for skimming debris out of the pool in between cleanings. Guests can request an additional cleaning at guest's cost if possible. The ice maker is a courtesy and may or may not be functional during your stay.
There is also a locked closet in the downstairs unit near the laundry area and another at the stairwell in the upper unit that guests don’t have access to. It has supplies in it for our cleaners.
Guests may encounter members of our staff on the property during their stay including property maintenance members, cleaners, landscapers and pool cleaners.
