About this property

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

Newly renovated beautiful home in the heart of Lakeside. Walking distance to Lakeside social district and just a few minute drive to Pere Marquette beach, this house is the perfect place to call your home away from home for the whole family! Whether you are here for a few days or a week you’ll enjoy every minute in this charming location.

The property is a stand alone home with a long drive way that can accommodate three vehicles, one behind the other. There is also street parking, however, street parking is regulated in the Winter due to snow removal.

There is a fenced in back yard for your furry family members. The backyard is set up for a Summer evening, fire-pit, propane grill and lounging chairs. Please respect our neighbors by respecting our quiet hours.

Inside the home you will find a newly renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The dining table can fit four comfortably and six if you really like each other :).

The main level of the home includes the living space with a 55 inch smart tv, all applications are loaded on the tv, you just need to login to your accounts. The master bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds (we have provided some children's books for your littles). The powder room is located on the main floor as well.

Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a queen bed and an office space for our nomadic friends. The office is well equipped with fiction and non fiction books. Feel free to take a book and leave a book if you find yourself hooked and out of time to finish one.

The laundry and "dog shower" is in the basement. Please use the basement shower for your pups.

Please note: The home is not on the lake, nor does it have a beach access or view of the lake. We are located in the neighborhood of Lakeside.

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

This property is adorable and so comfortable. It had everything we wanted/needed during our stay and was centrally located so most things were just a short walk or drive away. It’s a short drive to Pere Marquette beach and Muskegon beach is just down from Pere Marquette and dog friendly if you’re looking for a dog friendly beach that isn’t a dog park. We would absolutely stay here again.

It’s a perfect home away from home.

Everything in the house was so comfortable and we loved the beachy, nautical theme throughout. The deck and outdoor furniture was so nice to have our Michigan family come over to enjoy a cookout. There were a couple of minor “glitches” but our host was easy to contact and very patient with our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cute house near the beach

We stayed at this property for a short trip to Michigan Adventure. Property is about 5 min from the beach and near a beach hotspot called The Deck. The people who stayed before us left a big mess so our check in time was delayed 2 hours so the cleaner could get the place ready for us. Kitchen has everything you need! Comfortable stay for our group

Just like it looks and we would come again.

We were a group of three work colleagues, looking for some separate spaces in a single property in the Muskegon area. This worked out perfectly for us. The vibrant Lakeshore was a short couple of mile drive and the neighborhood was nice to walk in. I have had a little experience with Muskegon. Made the Mistake of thinking we could walk on the lake shore near the house, but that wasn’t really the case- Even though the map made it look possible. That was our mistake. The home itself is very comfortable. We appreciate the communication and the attention to detail. Also also appreciated the coffee left for us! We definitely put a dent in it. Got up early and started working right away.

Charming Interior

The interior of this little Lakeside bungalow near the southern shore of Muskegon Lake was charming! The attention to decor and updated furnishings was wonderful. The kitchen and breakfast table were a little tight together but it worked for short term. We had guests drop by and visit, so one bathroom was only slightly inconvenient. Once the exterior and landscaping is cleaned up and improved, it will have the whole package. Weeds were overgrown in the front so our curbside first impression was not a good one. There was a bit of garbage in the backyard and it appeared that it had been given no attention in a while. We decided not to use the outdoor area after noticing some rotten boards in the little deck as well. we had asked about parking for our truck and boat and were assured there was room, but there really wasn't. We made do with the outside but thoroughly enjoyed the inside!
