Great Getaway with all the comforts of Home

The property was just as listed and the owners were communicative and informative. They provided more amenities than expected with toiletries, spices, coffee/tea, etc. The hot-tub was fabulous and we used it several times. A little too cold for the pool this time, but it was a pretty addition. It is a wide open layout that encouraged the group to sit together around the kitchen/den. The location was central and max 20 minutes to anything on the island

Amazing Neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay. They house had plenty of room for our party of seven adults. The hot tub was a wonderful treat after a long day. We loved the location on the island, we were able to see so much and still be close to the residence. The beach is right down the road. We enjoyed the quiet secure neighborhood. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The communication was amazing! Thank you for a great family vacation!!!

Celebrating Aunt’s 85th bday

Many memories were made, cards around the table, hot tub relaxing and laughs aplenty! Lovely home and host. I highly recommend this family home.

Hilton Head Trip

First impression wasn’t pleasant because we have property of our own and the first impression is the most important that a person can get. My wife had to go in and run the vacuum cleaner sweep, clean the showers because there were chips under the cushions of the couch chips on the floor in the living room, dirty floor in the kitchen. Dishwasher was not emptied. There was a dryer of towels in the dryer. We did call the owner and his response was that he didn’t expect the cushions to be vacuumed every time , and he didn’t even address other issues , the bed in one bedroom Wouldn’t stay on the frame it kept falling. I think when a person pays 6 to 8 thousand dollars to rent a place this shouldn’t happen, in my opinion it shouldn’t happen if it was free!

Hunt/Biery Vacation

The property is in a beautiful setting in Shipyard backing up to a golf course. The outside seating areas were comfortably situated for conversations and enjoyment of the pool and surrounding wooded areas. It has a spacious and well appointed kitchen in addition to 2 large great rooms! The game room was really popular and such a fun addition! The neighborhood is simply beautiful! We loved staying there!

Truly a wonderful property!

This house was perfect for our group of two couples, two single adults and an infant. The rooms were great, the living spaces very nice for spreading out or congregating together. Everything we needed was there from a travel crib for the baby to trash bags and extra toothbrushes. Having a pool, hot tub and pool table were lovely amenities. We hope to return!

Wonderful Property

This was a beautiful home with plenty of room for three adult couples to spread out. We looked forward to the pool and hot tub after a day at the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and the host added little touches of extra toothbrushes, razors and shaving gel! The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We hope to return soon!

Awesome Pool

The house is awesome!! There was a lot of room. Our family had room yo be together and play games but also could be alone. The hot tub was great after a day on bikes or at the beach! The host was very attentive and helpful through a couple glitches. We would stay there again!

Ideal Getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The rooms are large for family gatherings. The kitchen is fully stocked with the great cooking area. It was very quiet and it backed up to a nice golf course. We all really enjoyed the hot tub! We walked to Caligny Plaza daily for coffee, which was awesome. The beds were super comfy and it was wonderful to have four bedrooms. Loved the pool table! We asked for some extra blankets and the host delivered them within a couple hours. The hosts were very responsive about any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Let’s go to Hilton Head for Thanksgiving!

This property was great! Very clean at check in and accurate to the website description. The owners were very responsive to our needs and even checked in to make sure we had all we needed for the holiday. The pool was amazing!…Great way to end a day of golf or fishing. Location of the home was perfect for all of our activities. If you are visiting Hilton Head this is the perfect place to call home while you are there!

Amazing home and property

Great amenities. Beautiful home with plenty of space for friends or families to relax and play. Cozy couches, loved the fireplace, fire pit, and jacuzzi at night in November. The outdoor space is so nice and the yard is gorgeous. You can hang out by the pool or pay a little extra and rent bikes from the owners. They have 6 beach cruisers so one speed only. It took us about 15 min to ride from the house to the beach. It’s a beautiful ride and a good workout! I will definitely be back and will rent this home again. Heather is a fantastic host!

2024 Family Vacation

Thanks so much to Frank and Heather for providing such an amazing home for our family vacation. No detail was overlooked from an incredibly well stocked gourmet kitchen to four bathrooms that were equipped with all necessary supplies. With two great rooms we had lots of room to watch TV or just look out the window at the pool and golf course. The pool and hot tub were perfect. Also our older kids found the walk to the beach was quick and easy. We plan to visit again.

Perfect stay

The home was exactly as described. We arrived to a couple of post-hurricane impacts but, the property owner was quick to respond and resolve. The home sits on a beautiful golf course with kind staff. The house was only a few minutes drive from the Coligny Beach. There were many beautiful walking trails around the property. The pool, hot tub, and game room were such fun for the family. The house was equipped with all the amenities!! We had an amazing chef style kitchen and all we needed to prepare our meals. We arrived to find snacks, plenty of dishwasher tabs, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent packs, travel toiletries, and toilet paper. The house included beach towels, beach bikes, and chairs. The beds were comfy and the living room couch was super cozy! This is a beautiful home that offers a relaxing stay!

Summer 2023!

Hilton Head has always been a favorite destination for our family. This year did not disappoint! We had 7 adults (me, my husband, two daughters, one son and two boyfriends. This house was amazing!!! We had plenty of room both inside and out. The layout kept everyone comfortable. Four spacious bedrooms with bathrooms were a definite plus. I cannot say enough about the kitchen - it had everything and anything we needed. I have never stayed in a house that had a fully stocked kitchen. It made us want to stay in and cook some of our meals. The kitchen table was large and we enjoyed playing Yahtzee and poker each night. The outdoor patio and pool were amazing and we spent many hours there, again with plenty of room in both the sun and the shade. No need to pack beach/pool towels - they are provided! There was a hot tub available for use and a fire pit but vacation in July is a bit too hot for that. And lastly, the couch in the room attached to the kitchen is "to die for" !!!! So, so comfy!!! Heather and Frank were awesome hosts and responded to the handful of messages that we sent them in very timely manner. I would definitely stay at this VRBO in the future! Kathy July 2023

Our adult family of 7 stayed here a week. The location is nice, the house is spacious and updated. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We appreciated that they left ample towels, garbage bags, laundry and dishwasher soap. The disadvantages were the sheets are poor quality. By morning, the fitted sheet had popped off the mattress (every night). The main light didn’t work in one bedroom. Mattress in one bedroom was not comfortable, the rest of the mattresses were great.

Lovely home in a Central Location

We had a wonderful family vacation in this lovely home. We had a few questions during our stay however Heather (host), was great to work with and quick to respond. Love the location of the home in the beautiful Shipyard neighborhood. It is obvious the homeowners take pride in the materials used in their remodel which makes the home very welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and would consider staying here again! A couple of small suggestions- provide more kitchen trash bags as we went through 4 very quickly. I like to keep the house clean as I go so it would have been nice to have kitchen and bathroom sprays for countertops. Also, nicer PT- current brand falls apart so you go through the roll rather quickly. Pillows in all the rooms were extremely hard or very flat and there was a light bulb missing in the Primary Bathroom by the shower.

Wonderful family vacation!

Our week long stay in this Shipyard home was just what we had hoped for! We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren, everyone had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, close to all the amenities, restaurants, grocery stores etc. The heated pool was amazing especially for the little ones and the two living rooms gave us ample space to spread out. At night when it cooled down a bit, the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped, loved the fridge with its ice maker and the gas stove. The dining table was large enough to fit us all for our family dinners. As well as the pool, the grandchildren enjoyed the games room, which had a multi use games table. We had bikes for everyone and every morning we biked on the beach, did a loop from Shipyard beach access to Coligny beach access and then went to the amazing pirate ship park in Coligny. We then enjoyed each afternoon swimming in the pool. Our hosts Frank and Heather were very responsive to any of our questions or concerns, this made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this beautiful home again and hope to do so in the future. Thank you Frank and Heather!
