Purposely Lost built three treehouses and two hobbit houses on a wooded 15-acre parcel on a trout pond. Search "Sanford, Maine" to see all five properties. Welcome home to a rounded dome burrow buried in the earth! The hobbit home is all one level, so it might be easier access than climbing spiral stairs to a treehouse on the property. Very relaxing

My husband and I truly enjoyed the Hobbit House. We took full advantage of use of the canoe, swimming and fishing. The property was very relaxing and we achieved that “purposely lost” feeling. We would love to come again!
