Peaceful, clean & welcoming

This place was excellent. I loved seeing sheep right outside the kitchen window. Eva met us right away and she was so kind and knowledgeable. The rental was stocked with snacks and anything we might need for our stay. I do hope we’ll be back again soon. Thanks so much!

Nice appartement

With this apartment, everything was unproblematic right from the start. Ciaran contacted us shortly after booking and provided us with information. When we arrived, we were greeted very warmly by Eva and she took us to the cozy and clean apartment, where a lovely welcome package was waiting for us. Everything else here was also immaculate. A nice kitchen where you don't miss anything, a bathroom with a nice shower and you could sleep well in the beds. A great bonus is the small forest behind the house, which is perfect for a walk. The apartment is well connected. Shopping facilities are within a short distance, as well as excursion destinations (Newgrange, Trim Castle and of course Dublin) and the airport. Thank you Ciaran and Eva for a wonderful time!

1st trip to Ireland

We so enjoyed staying here. Ciaran and Eva were so warm and welcoming. We didn't realize our need of a vehicle until we arrived, but they graciously gave us rides to Ashbourne to catch the bus. Thanks so much for making our first trip so memorable!

Very quaint little place

The property was as described. The property was clean and easy to check in. My only slight issue was that it was not easy to walk to nearby shops or pubs, as the road is narrow and dangerous to walk on. Other than that I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful space to relax, recharge and explore

My two teens and I stayed for 3 days at this lovely farm in Ashbourne. The apartment was lovely, spacious and very clean. It had a nice patio that looked out at a field with some friendly sheep and to our delight two cats that wanted nothing but love. Our host Ciaran was so hospitable, he knew so much history about the land and area so we ended up staying close by during our explorations to see Trim Castle. My kids love animals to getting to interact with the cows, sheep, dogs and cats was the perfect end to our trip in Ireland. The forest on site had a nice pathway which allowed for evening strolls until the sun went down at 10:30 pm! All in all we would go back to Ciaran's place in a heartbeat if we are ever in Ireland again.

This property definitely exceeded our expectations. We will be staying here in the future. It was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The owners of the property were wonderful. My favorite part was all of the farm animals on the property as we are huge animal lovers. It felt like being home instead of some generic hotel. Thank you so much.
