Without a doubt, this was the finest stay we’ve ever experienced. Richard and Linda welcomed us into their home with the utmost hospitality. They proved not only to be exceptional hosts but kind friends who take genuine interest and care for the guests that stay in the farmhouse. For years to come I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a stay in the Dublin area.
The host was more welcoming than I would have ever imagined! Linda, richard Sr, and Richard Jr were the highlight of our trip thus far!! They have a lovely property, and the experience was delightful! First visit to Ireland and what a welcoming committee! When we return we will certainly look them up! Thank you becoming our first welcoming face in Ireland!
Honestly, the hosts at this property literally should be the standard for every host!Irish hospitality is absolutely known for its warm and welcoming nature, but Linda and Richard went above and beyond in so many ways.I have a service dog, and I’m hearing impaired. They were concerned that a taxi driver may not take a service dog so they drove all the way into Dublin airport to pick me up, and by the time we got back to their property, I felt like I’ve known them for years. They were not only patient and welcoming with me and my service dog, I had absolutely everything I could’ve wanted at my fingertips, in addition to the best home-cooked food, shared drinks by the fire, and amazing stories I’ll never forget.Richard even took me on an impromptu tour of a ruined Abby that I never even knew was there!Honestly, the conversations and shared time were the best part of this property, but the property itself is breathtaking.Don’t hesitate to book this property. It’s one of my favorite memories and I’ve been coming to Ireland for more than 30 years. If there was an option to give them ten stars I would have done it twice.
Linda was a stellar host! From the beginning of our communications long before our trip, she was responsive and made excellent recommendations. Her family picked us up from the airport and then drove us to the bus station where we were able to get into Dublin to some amazing events. They also picked us up from the bus stop on our return to the house and then drove us back to the airport the next day. We had a very short trip, but because of Linda and Richard's generous hosting we were able to make the very most of our time in Dublin. The house was perfectly clean and very user friendly. The room with the fireplace was such a cozy way to spend time after a long day of travel. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean, with amenities like water and wine in the room for us. The bathroom was like a spa, with great water pressure in the shower, some high quality shower products, and other essential items available if you'd forgotten yours. Both Linda and Richard were incredibly helpful with anything we needed and we felt well taken care of from the beginning to the end of our stay. If we are lucky enough to come back to Ireland there's no other place we will want to stay.
