We chose this spot to spend our Anniversary Weekend of 25 yrs...Taking a break from the everyday routine and from the kids...It was everything like the listing described! Really relaxing, quiet and a perfect getaway from the city that's not far from the city! With all kinds of attractions and things to do within a 30 minute drive, depending on what u looking for. We spent some time walking and shopping at the Outlets of San Marcos wich are 30 away...Everything was great, only one thing we could complain about would be the smell when we arrived, it was a strong smell of wood (since it is made of all wood inside) and like it had been closedup for a while but it didn't last and aired out quickly! (Not a big deal) Over all it was a great experience and the perfect way to celebrate our Anniversary!!! We would stay again!!! Thanx...
Such a great place to stay and get away with the love of your life. We enjoyed every moment relaxing and enjoying each others presence and tiny texas house helped keep us focus on just us.
The owners are very communicative and friendly! I definitely reccomend staying here. They practically had everything ready for us to just sit down and enjoy our getaway. Thank you!
One of the best VRBO/similar we’ve stayed in. Great service, very nice facility, beautiful craftsmanship, clean, private, good bed, great pillows, and an overall great stay.
The tiny home was quaint and comfy. There were 3 other cottages on the property but we were all secluded with varying views and privacy. The hot tub was especially nice during the cool evenings. The stars were spectacular. Property is close to a grocery store, gas station, several nice restaurants ( I chose curbside), and hiking trails.
Great little place for a getaway. The property was very quiet and full of deer. The cabin was clean and the hot tub was very nice. Will definitely go back.
We really enjoyed the Texas Tiny house and will return for future getaways. It was close to everything we needed to do.

Lovely Stay
We enjoyed our stay at the tiny house! Beautiful home with so many little details. We loved laying in the hammock, and relaxing in the hot tub. It was just what we needed in order to escape from the hustle’n’bustle of city life. Hope to come back and visit again!

Cute Tiny House!
Second time to stay. Would like to make it a yearly stop for the wife and I to get away. The hot tub and sitting area make it feel so secluded. Love it!

Perfect spot for a romantic hill country getaway
My wife and i stayed a couple nights at this property and loved every minute. It was nice and clean and just right for our weekend as we weren't planning on spending the day at the house. it was perfect for coming home to every night and jumping in the hot tub to end the day. We were in the area to see Billy Currington play and it was a short Uber ride away. We were also 5 minutes from the closest marina and were able to rent jet skis to play on Canyon Lake. We like to stay at a different property every time so we might never stay here again but if you have never stayed here before and it's available make sure and stay here.

Nice property
The place was cozy and we liked it. However, the bed is in a loft with a 7 foot ladder you have to climb. We’re 60+ years old, so we won’t stay here again. Middle of the night bathroom visits are tough. Was a great adventure though and we made a good memory.

Kirk,
Thanks for the review! Staying in the Tiny House can definitely be an adventure. The most common description I hear is that it reminds people of sleeping in a treehouse. We do include photographs of the stairs in our listing and mention them in our property description. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I would recommend trying one of our other private cottages for your next adventure- either the Cedar Cabin or Montview Cottage. These units are beautiful and don’t require the use of stairs to go to bed.
Take care.

Wonderful
Wonderful owners!!! We needed early access to set up honeymoon items since the wedding was late at night and the owners were so helpful. I highly recommend renting from them.

Cozy couples retreat
We were attending a wedding in nearby Spring Branch, and this was such a wonderful location. It felt cozy, intimate, and secluded, and the host was available, kind, and accommodating! There is a great Italian restaurant nearby, but it’s also easy to make a simple meal in the house. We also enjoyed the very unique winery down the road, La Cruz de Comal. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay. As we drove away we were already trying to plan when we can return.

Great little place
Little TX House presents just like it shows in the pictures...with a tad bit more.
The landscaping and placement make this a secluded place for sure.
I enjoyed the Tiny TX House. But my female half “Looooved” the place.
Only draw back was finding it in the dark. Only set us back about 2 minutes though.
I would recommend it highly for couples.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and unique.
My husband and I chose this home for my husbands birthday weekend. We wanted something uniquely different. We enjoyed the hammock, the hot tub, and the beautiful wood work on the tiny house. We brought our jet skies and played on the lake all day. We made a reservation at our favorite restaurant Gennaros and everything was perfect! What a nice getaway it turned out to be.

About the host
Hosted by Justin Robinson
Jean & Justin welcome you to our newest addition - The Tiny Texas House.
Why they chose this property
We added the Tiny Texas House to the 12 acres to compliment the cabin and cottage we already rent on the property. This new unit is so unique. Everything from the doors, floors, windows, lumber, porch posts, glass, door hardware, and even the siding has been saved and re-used to create houses that we hope will last for a century or more.
What makes this property unique
Come and relax in this architectural beauty. A miniature Victorian nestled on a quiet piece of the hill country. Just minutes from Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. Tiny yet so spacious. The vaulted ceilings give a feeling of immense space. This unit is perfect for a romantic getaway for two!
