Great and unique place with lots of amenities right on the property. The hot tub is great, but so is the deck level with soaking tub, outdoor shower, and luxury tent. Very comfortable place, and we’ll likely be back and would definitely stay here again. Great and responsive host, too!

Wonderful little gem in the hill country

We went on a family vacation to the hill country and absolutely loved our stay at the Hanger:) Easy to make contact with Julian and the space was wonderful with fun little touches through out. Only drawback was the hot tub not being available due to repairs going on, but otherwise super!

Must Stay Hidden Gem

This place was amazing, from the location to the privacy, comfort, outdoor party area with the grill TV and hot tub. This is a must stay place for sure. We brought my 6-year-old, and the hot tub was an ultimate plus because after a day on the lake he was busy for hours in the hot tub swimming while we chilled watched a boxing fight on the TV outside and grilled. The bed so comfy and there were plenty of blanket's pillows and sheets to make the couch and blow-up downstairs. The a/cs were super-duper. A huge must have because my husband cannot stay anywhere that doesn't get freezing cold, the hangars A/Cs are great, this place is 5 star all the way and its super affordable. Just top notch 5 star we will definitely be returning.

WOW. What an amazing place to stay! The site is beautiful! Interesting design & thoughtful space solutions throughout. Outdoor showers were so fantastic - a big hit with teen kids. Sitting in the hot tub, with the high-power fan blowing, watching World Cup games on the outdoor TV? Paradise. An unusual, so much better place to stage a trip to Schlitterbahn & Canyon Lake, for a family traveling with younger cousins (7, 10 etc). Site can be a little hard to find at night - look for the Hangar Hotel sign well-paved driveway. Site stayed nice & cold except for in the middle of the day when the large hangar room would get a little hot. The “glamping” tent was a little too hot at night, but the kids enjoyed it at night (an a/c unit is in the tent) on the days it was closer to 92, not 95. There are many cute, hidden “fairy house” doors on the property and beautiful lighting at night. The fireplace was fun to use for s’mores - plenty of wood & kindling to gather onsite. Nice candles throughout the hangar (“Volcano” from Capri Blue); lots of nice glasses for drink service. GREAT ART. We got fresh oranges & used the giant JUICER wow, for fresh OJ in the morning. No toaster. Microwave display is kind of broken but we just did 30sec, stopping it early as needed for warm tortillas. You get a whole fridge & freezer as guests, complete with a large tray of ice chilled drink glasses inside the freezer. Washer had a weird smell? Julian looking into it. Absolutely a 5 star place - LOVED!
