Sip and Dip Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, new furniture on screen porch that we enjoyed very much. It’s an older home, but it is in good shape, and was super clean. We loved it and hope it is open the next time we come down. The off street parking is also great.

Excellent Location for Families

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had the best stay at the Sip N Dip. Such a great location! An easy walk to everything and so nice to be right across the street from the beach that was not crowded. The outdoor space at the house was perfect. The management was very helpful! Advice for travelers: skim boards are not as fun as they look and Emerald Coast Urgent Care is excellent.

Nice house, Close to Beach but loud traffic on 30A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED staying in Seaside. This house was very spacious for our family of 5. Pros: very close proximity to the beach & town, nice amenities inside the home, just a small bike ride away from the pool & grocery store, huge wrap around porch! Cons: SUPER loud traffic on the main road- 30A. This house is right on 30A so you can hear trucks, golf carts & kids until the late evening & again in the early morning- bring sound machines!

Christina, Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review of the Sip "n" Dip & Homeowners Collection team. We appreciate the details of the Pro's and Cons. I am so sorry the noise and activity was annoying for you. Seaside is a very popular destination and this time frame through July is the busiest . If you do have the opportunity to return, please request a more favorable location to avoid this. Our Reservation Agents are very knowledgeable and will be delighted to assist. We are pleased you enjoyed the cottage and amenities and hope to welcome you back. Take care..

We Love Seaside

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was perfect for our needs. House was clean, kitchen could be updated with newer items for rental price. We loved the location of being across the street from the beach and would rent again, just unfortunately not during “Atlanta Week”. Evening noise and foot traffic was too much and would warn families with young children. Safety was a concern and a rental bike was stolen. We love Seaside and would love to stay at Sip N Dip again, but may consider a more private property if we return over spring break.

Perfect for our small family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location, both for walking to dinner and easy beach access. We’ve stayed in Seaside and Watercolor many times and this was the best location. I rated the property’s condition lower because the kitchen could stand an update. Very small dishwasher, not a lot of cooking stuff. The kitchen didn’t negatively effect our stay because we ate out for most of our meals. And the house is so convenient to restaurants. The rest of the house is great. Good layout, comfortable beds. We loved the front porches for people watching.

Family Vacation at Sip N Dip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and very clean! Bathroom door to outside shower being full glass was a very poor design choice. You can see right through it despite having frosted glass. Then having maintenance there working on outside shower one day meant we couldn’t use the shower or restroom that afternoon. It should be replaced with a solid door. The maintenance was not an emergency issue so we should have been informed about the repair before check-in or texted or called ahead rather than someone showing up at the door.
Response from VrboOwner on 2 Aug 2023
Thank you for choosing Homeowner's Collection and Sip and Dip. We will share your observations on the door with the owner. We apologize that a repair person showed up during your stay and you were not informed. That is absolutely not standard procedure for us, but clearly there was a glitch in communication somewhere. The home is slated for a complete kitchen renovation in winter 2024 with new pictures to come.

comfortable beds and nice porch

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was conveniently located- a bit noisy on the road there, right on 30a but love that it was near the beach across the street literally. Would’ve been nice to be able to store our clothing as the bedrooms had really no space really other than hanging up in the closet. Couldn’t find the iron. It is close to everything which is great for eating out because the house really isn’t set up at all for cooking. With a five night stay I would’ve expected. They could’ve left more than two rolls of toilet paper for the week but not a big deal. There was no way to clean the bathroom as there was no cleaning brush or supplies in the bathroom. Overall a decent property.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home Owners Collection Agency were great. Unfortunately the house was not. Old, dilapidated and urgent need for repairs & maintenance. Sub par when compared to similar properties. We have been vacationing at Seaside for over 16 years and this house is the worst. The only reason we took Sip n Dip was it was one of the very last few available & the pictures presented on the web site look great, this was clearly not reality. Its strongly recommended to take the home off the rental agency to ensure the Seaside standard is maintained.
Response from VrboOwner on 25 Oct 2023
Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted you were pleased with our staff. However, we sincerely apologize you were not pleased with your cottage. The photos are current, the owner has purchased many new furnishings throughout the home, painted the entire inside. The owner renovated the bathroom Winter 2023, and a complete kitchen renovation is coming Winter 2024 with new pictures out March 2024. Thank you again, we look forward to welcoming you back to Seaside for many years to come!
