The host was very welcoming and the amenities were as described. The king bed was very comfortable and the apartment was clean. This is a small, out-of-the-way location, a 20-minute drive to beach and restaurants.
Lovely, quiet and surrounded by nature. Host is welcoming and helpful. Great location for surrounding areas, especially downtown Delray. Would definitely stay again.

This is one of the most relaxing getaways you will find in the area. It is nicely secluded and very comfortable. It has everything you need. The hosts are wonderful and we look forward to renting again soon. It is so much nicer than staying at a hotel.
I had an amazing relaxing weekend for my birthday at this property. It was a perfect weekend getaway. The amenities were awesome and I had great communication with the owners. I will definitely stay there again.

Arlene was a welcome host. We had a great time at her adorable studio. It's right on Lake Ida which has two great parks near by for your dogs. We loved it and look forward to staying again.
Amazing Location! Arlene and her daughter are the best hosts EVER!!!!!!!!! I just hope they save room for me the next time!!! If the word ever gets out, this place will be booked for the next century!!!!!!

Thank you. Enjoyed having you. Hope to see you again. Arlene 👍
Absolutely amazing stay with an absolutely amazing host, me and my girlfriend stayed at Arlene’s lovely apartment for five days. We fished off the dock and caught multiple bucket list fish close enough to ride our electric scooters to the beach and downtown area. Also about 10 minutes from a bunch of local offshore fishing charters. There’s much to do in this area and I would recommend this visit to anyone, especially fisherman/Fisherwoman, we will definitely return sometime in the future. Additionally, we were able to keep my 17 foot center console boat in the water tied to Arlene‘s dock the whole trip
Arlene and Krista were very accommodating during my 1 week stay. The property is beautiful and is on a quiet, private road. My little Morkie and I enjoyed the company of the peacocks each day and we loved the convenience of the fenced-in yard. Overall, a great stay!
This was my second time at this very comfortable VRBO rental. It’s small but has everything you need and the little courtyard is ideal for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Good for a couple. And definitely recommend for a solo woman traveler. Can’t wait to return!

Arlene was a great host. I got lost several times trying to find her home in the dark, and she patiently guided me each time, even standing outside waving a flashlight until I finally found her. The studio unit itself is no bigger than a decent-sized hotel room. But Arlene has stuffed it full of everything you might need and added some thoughtful extras that make it feel homey. The king bed was comfy and everything in the unit worked well. I found it a great option for a solo traveler like me, and it would also be good for a couple that doesn’t mind being in the same room for the entire stay. (If you need separate corners to retreat to, you won’t find them here unless one of you hides in the bathroom or outside.)Interestingly, I counted 25(!) different signs in that small space taped onto walls, doors, and surfaces telling guests how to use something or not break something. If you can take those as products of Arlene’s devotion to her rental units, you’ll be quite happy staying here. I was.Quiet neighborhood. Pretty lakefront scenery. I was greeted by wild peacocks each morning when I left for my car – you don’t get that at the Marriott!
Loved the location, the space, and the lovely hosts. Very private, next to the lake, on a private road, no traffic, within minutes of DelRay. With peacocks wandering around. Room was well apportioned. I just needed a "hotel room" but I got a lot more. I would defineltly stay again.

Property is rare and unique. Very private and peaceful. Arlene, the owner is super accommodating. Direct lake access for fishing and kayaking. Wildlife abound with lizards, birds and peacocks. Fishing off the dock was good- caught a variety of fish including clowns, gar, bass and pea’s

I stayed in the A suite, mid-century mod meets old Florida. I had absolutely everything I needed. No oven but with a cooktop and microwave and brand new Weber charcoal grill no issues at all. The host is a wonderful lady that lives on site with her daughter. I had an outstanding time fishing on Lake Ida via kayak. Extremely peaceful surroundings. The 40 to 60 peacocks may serve as your alarm clock in the morning, but do you not want to sleep in, in this kind of a place. I will be renting here again when work or fun brings me back to Delray. Thank you so much, Arlene.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Such a peaceful and charming place! Very clean, very comfortable and the owner and her daughter are wonderful people, who go out of their way to make it a great stay while still giving you privacy. I plan to return whenever I can. I highly recommend this place for a woman traveling alone. (Note: As stated in the description, there is no kitchen sink. I quickly adapted and actually enjoyed washing my few dishes at the outside sink while watching the peacocks! lol)

Thank you. The feelings are mutual and we could not ask for a better guest. We loved having her and look forward to many more visits.
The outdoor sink is a challenge but the company of " Lady Bird and company", our wild Peacocks is worth a visit in my estimation. This place is an adventure. Stay safe.
Good for Del Rey Tennis. 5-10 " travel to tennis. Arlene was good to work with. A bit out dated but clean. Bed and shower were good. No real kitchen, but small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice view of the lake and good fishing. I did not use the pool or hot tub. The Vrbo process for adding a night was weird and caused a problem for both Arlene and me. She is a very nice lady and worked with me to get it resolved. The property is nicely isolated.
Wow! What a treat to experience 8 days at this beautiful lake haven! The wild peacocks were present for our enjoyment every day, showing their plumage and their splendor! The owner, Arlene, was the most hospitable, friendly and accommodating we’ve ever encountered in our 5+ years of rentals around Florida. My husband caught several Clown knife fish, and a tagged large mouth bass that ended up being a $100 winner, right off the pier. The unit and entire property was very clean and well taken care of. How very fortunate we were to have found this little slice of Heaven on Lake Ida!

OMG, THANK you. This endeavor means so much to us. We try to run our vacation rental the same way we would want to be treated. Randy hit the jackpot on that $100 fish, I understand over 150 fish have been tagged and released. With your luck, you could probably pay for next years vacation. According to a well respected fisherman, LAKE IDA carries the world record for the largest clownfish ever caught in the world. We appreciate your response and look forward to next season. ARLENE & KRISTA
Great place if Peacock Bass is on your bucket list. Launch your boat directly across the lake from the house. My son and I caught Largemouth,Peacock Bass,Mayan cichlids and Clown Knife fish.
