This new four season and beautiful Adirondack cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation - extended or with friends. The 4 bed rooms are furnished with 2 queen size log beds, 1 king and 4 log bunk beds, accommodating up-to 10 guests. With 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on each floor, you will have convenience and comfort. The interior is warm and inviting, just right for fun, laughter, and relaxing times together. Classic knotty pine walls, ceilings and hand hewn log railings provide the backdrop for rustic furnishings creating Adirondack charm and coziness in every room.
The fully-outfitted kitchen is perfectly suited for preparing and serving group meals and opens to a great room with a log dinning room table, chairs and bench to gather around for meals.
A ledge stone gas fireplace centers the great room providing glowing warmth and charm to the living and dining areas. The beauty inside is matched outside by wooded landscaped terraces and deck complete with grilling area for family barbeques. The fire pit and play area will create your own special vacation memories at Pawnee Pines.
A short drive to the semi-private beach features a spacious sandy beach, perfect for wading and swimming. The quaint Town of Old forge is minutes away. If your looking to Snowmobile, we are down the road from Trail 4! You can ride to town, the gas pumps and access the inner trail system.
At day’s end, sing songs and toast s’mores around the campfire. When it’s time to come in, gather around the fireplace to play board games, cards or watch a large-screen TV with cable to view your favorite movies and programs. For others it may be searching the web on a high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection or retiring to one of the bedrooms all equipped with flat screen HD TV’s.
You will enjoy yourselves at Pawnee Pines whether inside or out creating memories with family and friends that will last a lifetime.

We loved the property. We had difficulty locating with the directions we were provided. After reaching out to the property contact, we were able to locate. There were a few items that were not available upon arrival that were in the listing. Overall it was a great place to stay and close to town. We would rent again.

Prior to checking in the host was attentive. Afterward I texted her a question and days later I still have no response. There was one night during our stay that we woke up in the middle of the night and there was no running water. By morning it was back on. There was one bed that there weren’t any sheets for in the bunk bed room. The listing doesn’t mention this but there is no AC. When we called the host prior to coming she gave us that heads up and said we could bring a window unit if we wanted to, which we did. The king size bed was very comfortable. The full kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, and cookware. The house was very clean on check in. We were happy to find there was a high chair and kids utensils/dishes. The separate beverage fridge/freezer was also a pleasant surprise. There is nowhere to drop trash which is a large inconvenience. Each room and the living room all had TVs which was great. Each room had closets but no dressers so we were essentially living out of our luggage for our whole stay. The wifi password is written a certain way, but we found after some trial and error that it’s actually all supposed to be lowercase. As a final note: The photo in the listing that shows the view of the lake is very misleading. There is no lake view from the house, and it’s actually quite the hike to get to the water.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here. A full set of towels for each person would’ve been appreciated. A full set to me is bath, hand and wash cloth. Otherwise great house and perfect location.

Pawnee Pines was fabulous!

We had a wonderful time and the house was terrific! All the comforts of home, nestled in the woods. The property was close to shopping, restaurants, hiking and more. I would definitely recommend staying here. We plan to book again next year.

I messaged the host 2 weeks before our arrival date asking about the private beach instructions and confirming that the grill was ready to go with propane. I never received a response through Vrbo messenger. We drove 5 hours and arrived 15 minutes before check in, our toddler was sleeping so we parked in the driveway and we were not pleasantly greeted by the hosts who were finishing cleaning, instead we were immediately told we could not be there until check in. The propane was empty, delaying our planned meals, and the host was unable to have it filled for 3 hours so we had to go fill it. She did refund us. There was no picnic table outside as pictured to have meals. The front door lock malfunctioned and we had to change the batteries.We walked around in socks which became black from the dirty floors. The beds are uncomfortable. The yard is not equipped for games, it’s mostly overgrown. The fire pit was nice, but you can hear cars going by as you sit there, and from the windows in the house.There is also zero information about the advertised private beach area. It’s the Hollywood Hills Association beach and you are supposed to have a sticker to park (or you will be towed) which is not provided. There is also no trash pass provided by the hosts, so you have to pay to drop off your trash at the transfer station. We have been renting in old forge every summer for almost 10 years now and we have always been given a trash pass. We will not be staying here again.

House was charming and just as you would picture it to be in the heart of old forge. Aside from the weather not for operating we were able to play games and enjoy yummy food in the house!

Very nice place

My family came up to celebrate my brother’s birthday and also signed up for pink riders. Had a wonderful time the house is exactly like the picture. The only thing is we could have used a shovel. Would highly recommend.

Annual Snowmobile Weekend

We’ve stayed there 3 out of the last 5 years we’ve been riding in the Old Forge Area. The proximity to the trail system makes the location desirable. Plenty of parking for both vehicles and sleds. More than adequate bedroom, bathroom and common space for our group of seven.. It’s our favorite place to stay. Just don’t plan on booking our traditional weekend stay😁

Convenient, Comfortable and Clean

House had the perfect layout for 2 grandparents and family of four. Loved the deck and grill as well as the fire pit & stocked dry wood. Really loved having the outdoor space! House is clean and well stocked. For our first trip to the Adirondacks, this was close to stores, food, trails etc! Overall, would highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable house close to Old Forge.

Morris Family Vacation

The property was gorgeous and exceeded our expectation. Spacious enough for our family of 8. Pleasant visits by a couple of deer - very friendly. Very close to Water Safari and Calypso Park. We cooked delicious meals in the cabin to save on cost of eating out. Overall very pleased and would recommend to anyone. Thank you ♥️.
