This was the perfect place for my family when we came to Boston for Boston College’s Family weekend. Right near the T line and easy access to all of Boston. Totally recommend!
Stayed with a group of friends to catch a Red Sox game and enjoy Boston--the hosts of this Vrbo were very responsive and helpful, the location was clean and comfortable and in a great neighborhood near a T stop, and would definitely recommend in the future!
Mike was responsive before, during, and after trip. Property was clean. Everything was as advertised on listing. Proximity to L was very helpful to get to downtown Boston without need for car. Location had a Whole Foods near by and a few food places. Everyone was happy with their stay. Would definitely come back!
We had a very comfortable stay at this place. It is located in a nice residential neighborhood, close to the metro station. Beds were super comfortable, and the ac's in the rooms were very effective. Mike has put in a lot of thought to make the place nice and comfortable!
Family gathered to attend b/d party we were all invited to. Family from CT. Found apartment very comfortable for all of us. Location was very near to where my son(birthday boy) lives in Brighton. We found apartment VERY clean and comfortable. Coffee/tea set up neatly set on kitchen counter. Plenty of paper plates and utensils already there which made it very convenient.
We had a wonderful weekend visiting our daughter and the apartment worked well for us. We appreciated that there was a desk in each room, as two of us had to work remotely. The home was well appointed. Thank you!
We were in Boston to celebrate my youngest son‘s birthday. The bedrooms were very spacious and everything was clean. The only surprise was that each bedroom had its own mini refrigerator, but there was not a large refrigerator in the kitchen or a kitchen table. The family room has a TV but just a few chairs to sit in, but no couch to gather on. We used the bedroom desk chairs to give us some extra seats in the family room. we did not spend a lot of time inside so it was perfect for what we needed. We did pay the extra fee for parking spots. It was worth it to have a place to put our cars.
Check-in easy and place was clean, exactly as described. Biggest oddity: no main fridge, but mini-fridges in each room. This was advertised, but I hadn't understood the reason: this must be a property that the owner frequently subdivides to rent the rooms individually. The consequence is that the things we would expect for cooking in an apartment weren't great. Plastic utensils, paper plates, no bowls (paper or otherwise), paper coffee cups. Some lifelong friends of mine were getting together...and the guy who brought the really good scotch hadn't foreseen he'd have to pour it into paper cups. If the cooking situation were improved, this place would be optimal, because it was clean, comfortable, and good location.
The host was super responsive and very nice to deal with. The apartment is perfect for a bunch of students. There are a few things the host could do to make it more comfortable for, say, a family on vacation, or a group of ladies on a girls weekend. 1. This place has polyester sheets and duvets. Change all bed linens to natural fibers so people don’t sweat to death. 2. Lighting in the common areas is INTENSE. The overhead light is giving interrogation room. The place needs a few more lamps, like in the bedrooms. Also less intense lightbulbs in the overhead lights, please. 3. The place has three uncomfortable chairs, a Lifetime folding table as a dining table and folding chairs. A comfy sofa and a real dining set would make it more homey. 4. The bathroom needs a complete renovation.
