The cabin was as represented it was clean and well stocked. The porch light is out and that created a bit of concern going up and down the steps. Once I found where to plug in the accent lights it was better. The ice maker in refrigerator did not work other than those two small issues everything was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute house! Great view! Very relaxing. Would definitely recommend to others! It's not directly on the water, but the relaxing atmosphere was more important for us and the lake was only about 5 minutes away by vehicle. It was clean and check-in and out was easy. This is a great place for a couple to get away for the weekend. We were in the area to fish and stayed in another cabin here last year we enjoyed, so we came back. Good value for the privacy and serene setting.

What an amazing birthday weekend! I told my husband I wanted a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of our every day life, and did this place hit the nail on the head! We felt right at home. The bed was comfortable, the deep jetted bath tub was amazing and the view…THE BEST! We spent the majority of our time on the deck grilling and enjoying the view! I can’t wait to be back and explore the area! (The ONLY downside for us was there was no oven or toaster oven…we cook all of our meals due to a deathly allergy, but we just made some modifications in the meals we bought). It definitely wasn’t a deal breaker at all. I just felt it was worth mentioning for future guests.

Amazing view

This was our second time staying at calico heights. This time we stayed in the blue cabin. It has a really nice covered patio that faces the lake. We sat out there every evening to watch the sunset. The views are AMAZING!
