We absolutely LOVED this stay! Just the right size! So clean and had everything we needed. The gym is AMAZING and the relaxation room and the rooftop! Beds were super comfy! Lots of natural light. The blockout curtains worked amazingly! Would actually choose to live here! It’s perfect! Almost stayed another night so we could enjoy the facility more!

Excellent property in general. The building is clean and feels safe with lots of amenities. The apartment is as pictured, clean and cozy and the hosts are extremely responsive. Convenient parking and convenient to shops and restaurants. The only issue was the apartment above us was so noisy that they woke us up more than once early in the morning and in the evening would pace the floor so loud and with so much force it would sometimes shake our unit. The noise reoccurred daily my entire stay. The host said they reported the noise and did not have another unit available, so I was forced to live with it for 7 days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review and for being so patient and communicative throughout your stay. I’m really sorry for the disturbances you experienced and that we weren’t able to improve that situation for you during this visit, and I’ll definitely keep your experience in mind as I work with the building to help make future stays more comfortable.

Family weekend

We enjoyed walking to coffee shops in New Haven in the morning & also the choice of so many restaurants for lunch and dinner within close walking distance. The bowling and pool table in the game room were so much fun! The apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay! I think the only issues we had is that a bath mat should be added when getting out of the shower, floor is slick, might also add a role of paper towels to the unit.

Hyatus in New Haven

The Hyatus apartment at City Crossing in New Haven is one of the best places we stayed. Very conveniently located, close enough to NYC to travel there almost everyday, very clean and the stuff responded promptly to any issues we had (we didn't have any except finding other cars parked in our spot). We are very happy with this booking and for sure will come back.

Nice stay.

The stay was nice as well as the amenities. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I would recommend is to replace the couch with a newer version that does not have a sinking dip in the middle. Overall the trip was good and I would stay again with upgrades to the couch. Thanks

Nice one bedroom with resort-like amenities

Stylishly furnished, very clean, modern apartment with washer dryer in the unit. The building boasts a beautiful pool deck, luxurious gym, movie theater for streaming video content, fun game-room, custom coffee machine in the lobby, and numerous work and lounging spaces. Really feels like a nice resort in an urban setting. Great communication. We walked into New Haven daily, but it is not an appealing walk as you have to cross over a highway (using overpass) and walk through a few less desirably blocks before you get to areas of interest. Also useful to know that the unit’s second bed is in an open space and is a tight double. We did not find the couch to be suitable as a place to sleep because there is no support; it feels like the springs have failed and the couch needs to be replaced even though I think it’s fairly new. Overall highly recommend especially for people who will primarily be driving to points of interest.

Hi Pamela, thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are so happy to know that you enjoyed your stay including the luxury amenities. The fun game room is an absolute favorite. I'm sorry that the sofa bed did your meet your expectations. Most times guests give us great feedback for it, but upgrading to ones that provide more sleep support may be worth the consideration. We loved hosting you and would love the opportunity to welcome you again :-)

Wonderful home away from home

This was a wonderful home to come back to after a long day exploring Connecticut and surrounding states. Kitchen was decently stocked with cooking utensils and necessary appliances; though having some real paper towels in lieu of the “public restroom” kind, as well as spices for cooking, would have been wonderful. The living room was quaint and comfortable, with the exception of the couch being severely stained. When living in a post-Covid world.. it doesn’t look very inviting to sit on mystery stains. The view of the beautiful church was a fun surprise, and for being on a street so central in downtown New Haven the noise wasn’t bad at all. There is some construction going on during the day on a new building a street over, but Hyatus isn’t able to control that nor was it a huge annoyance since we were mostly gone during the day. Parking was simple enough once we got the lay of the land, it was extremely convenient to simply set our GPS to the proper location. The beds were SO comfortable and the rooms were extremely inviting and wonderfully decorated; made it a serene space to rest from days activities. The preserved eucalyptus in the main bedroom smelled so wonderful that I purchased some for my own home on our return flight! Check-in/check-out procedures were so simple; Hyatus customer service answered any questions we had promptly, and always provided wonderful customer service. All in all we had a truly wonderful time in New Haven, and Hyatus’ lovely condo made that possible! I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for Hyatus properties when looking for a vacation rental going forward.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review, Hannah! We are so happy to see that we're part of the reason your trip to New Haven was memorable and worthwhile. We always do our utmost best to ensure our guests have everything they need from the moment they check into our conveniently located luxury apartments. I love your suggestion about adding a variety of spices. We will definitely consider stocking some in every one of our units. I'm sorry to see that the couch was not as appealing. It seems the stains you're referring to were remnants of cleaning solution, but we have been able to treat it so that the sofa is perfect now and you should be able to fully enjoy your next stay with us with no exceptions. Something we absolutely look forward to! :-)
