Welcome to Yuhaaviat House. Aptly named after local tribes, translates to People of the Pines! Newly renovated to be your perfect modern mountain escape. Located on a quiet street walking distance to The Village. The perfect meeting place for your family to relax, unwind in nature while still having all the conveniences nearby!

The Space:

The Home- Newly remodeled 2,351 square feet mid-century modern style home. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have king sized beds. Large open living areas. Full kitchen with pass through window to the exterior! Walking distance to The Village.
All Bedrooms are located upstairs.
Bedroom 1(master bedroom, attached bath)- includes king sized bed, walk in closet with built ins, dresser. Beautifully renovated bathroom.
Bedroom 2- Includes king sized bed, arm chair, and closet.
Bedroom 3- Includes king sized bed, sitting chair, and closet.
Bedroom 4- Doubles as an extra living area! Two queen sized beds, Full sized couch, 55" smart TV, and wardrobe.
Sitting Loft-Located at the top of the stairs. Cozy couch and a writing desk.
Two bathrooms are located upstairs. One bathroom is located on the main level.
We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton rounds, q tips, and floss picks. We do provide limited hand towels and wash cloths. 10 bath towels are provided. (Not for lake use, please bring extra for lake.)
Bathroom 1(Master bath)- Newly renovated tile and glass shower. Double vanity with amazing natural lighting.
Bathroom 2- Tiled, Single vanity
Bathroom 3- Tiled Shower with full body sprayer, single vanity
Kitchen- Bright and open kitchen. Perfect for entertaining with a large island, and a pass through window to the exterior deck! Full sized stainless steel fridge, gas range, stove, dishwasher to help you create wonderful meals. If you prefer take-out no worries! Fully stocked with all utensils, dishware, and cookware. A starter pack of paper towels, and trash bags are provided. Along with dish soap, coffee grounds, and sugar.
Dining- Located in view of kitchen, seating for 8 at dining table. Direct access to back patio.
Living room- Oversized sofa, 75’ smart tv for all your streaming needs. Wood burning fireplace.
Fireplace- Natural wood burning fireplace. We do not provide wood. It can be purchased upon check in.
Laundry- Full sized HE washer, dryer, and laundry sink.
Yard- Relax in the large outdoor space! Propane grill
Parking- Paved flat parking for 4 vehicles only. (no garage access)

We allow up to 2 trained dogs. No other types of animals are permitted. Non-refundable pet fee of $150 does apply per reservation. This does not cover damage or extra cleaning due to dogs. Do not allow them on the furniture. You will be responsible for picking up their feces before checkout. Please note this is not a fenced property.
Trash- This home does not have city trash service. Unfortunately wildlife have prevented us from being allowed this service. Trash just be takes to Clean Bear Sites. It’s an easy drive up and drop area.
If traveling in summer. Like most homes in Big Bear there is no AC. Fans are provided.
If traveling in winter, we highly suggest purchasing trip insurance! We have a strict cancellation policy and will stand by it. Winter months can be challenging with snow, ice, road closures, and other things. Cover yourself by purchasing the trip insurance.

Do not exceed the occupancy limit (10 guests this includes children & infants)
Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may
be less than the total maximum occupancy.
NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
No parking in street or yard
Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated
parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The
maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior
sign.
No amplified music 24/7
Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the
property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music
carrying beyond the property line.
Head inside at 10:00 p.m.
Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from
10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (There is no spa)
Take your furry friend with you.
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb
surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake
is very dog-friendly!
Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear
locations:
4190 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
Consequences
Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to
extend common courtesy and neighborly
behavior toward the guests and residents
around them. For those guests who have come
to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility
of the neighborhoods, there are costly and
severe consequences.
Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated
previously is $500 per violation. A second
offense is $1000 per violation.
Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules
and expectations will be evicted without a
refund. In addition, costly citations may be
issued to the reservation holder.
