This property was perfect for the needs of our group of 8 adults. It was clean, roomy and the location was beautiful. We biked on a large portion of the Root Riverbike Trails and the Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail and kayaked on the Root River. it was a nice trip.

Our family of six (my wife and I, our 2 adult daughters and 2 grandchildren stayed and toured the area. The house and grounds were spacious and well kept. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. All in all it was a very nice place to stay.

Amazing little piece of heaven- thank you Ken and Tara! Lovely home - and the property couldn’t have been more perfect for a get away from the metro. We biked, shopped, and most importantly relaxed with the birds, deer, cows, and amazing views. You have a lovely place!

Our family very much enjoyed our trip to the Driftless for July 4th! Everyone loved the property, its privacy, and the surrounding beauty. Over the extended weekend, we visited the International Owl Center (can't recommend enough), Houston's Natural Playground, Whitewater State Park (quite beautiful and very few crowds), and a couple of area breweries (Sylvan and Two Fathoms). The property itself had a sizable deck, ample space for games, loads of firewood, a creek that the kids loved, and ample wildlife.

Property was lovely! As described. Space was perfect for what we needed and seating/kitchen utensils were perfect. Only concern/complaint is that there were many many spiders and earwig bugs in everything from the couch to the beds and blankets. Made things feel less than clean.

The house was lovely! 3 generations of family (6 adults and one 19 yr old) in the area for a wedding.Beds were plentiful and comfortable, property and house were very clean and well stocked. Nice deck with table and chairs. Good wifi. The large kitchen had ample sitting and provided the perfect spot for all of us to hang out while meals were being prepared.Well maintained quiet old farmsted outside of town, no close neighbors, lots of deer wondering on the acreage There is an absolutely gorgeous event barn and camper hookups on the property. I assume it could be rented for weddings, family reunions, etc.Definitely would recommend!!!

We throughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the farmhouse for our family retreat. There was plenty of room and the beds were amazingly comfortable! Ken our host was quick to respond to our needs-even providing sleds for our kids to enjoy the hills. We loved watching the deer in the evenings and exploring the property. Highly recommended for great family fun!

The home was very spacious with very comfortable beds with plenty of room! The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and we had everything we needed. The location was beautiful, out in the countryside, with a ton of land for the kids to run and play on and even a creek that they loved out back! When the lock on the door didn’t work the owner was there in less than 5 minutes to fix it. Great property and owners!

Ken was great to work with. It was a great place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.One thing that would’ve been better was having more dishes. There wasn’t enough for 8 and certainly not for 13 people that it supposedly could hold. Also, the listing mentioned that toiletries would be supplied but didn’t find any luckily most everybody brought their own.

We visited this vrbo as a three generation group of 10 and it worked perfectly for a base while attending a family reunion at a nearby campground (understanding we didn't want to camp). The kids in our group enjoyed the outdoor playset and the board games. We loved the views all around the farm and enjoyed biking nearby. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen and charcoal grilled worked well for basic cooking. Thanks for the nice stay!
