Wonderful Ocean View - Located Six Miles South of Cannon Beach

Falcon Cove - Seeing is believing!! This is a very tranquil neighborhood nestled in the forest about 1/2 mile from hwy. 101. The area is beautiful with not a lot of traffic or noise. There is a local herd of elk that visit frequently. This house is everything you could hope for when you visit the coast. This is a two bedroom two bath home with a nice airy open floor plan and large windows to enjoy the wonderful ocean view. The house has a reverse living design - with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living area upstairs. The living area has a glass sliding door that provides access to a wrap-around deck with spectacular views of the ocean. The kitchen and dining area are large enough to provide for lots of entertaining. The area, located just three miles north of Oswald West State Park and Short Sands Beach, provides plenty to do with hiking trails, beach walking and surfing. At low tide there is a nice sandy beach, just a couple minute walk from the house. There is also a TV/VCR/Stereo and plenty of reading material and games. Previous guests have commented to 'what a great view there was' and 'how well you could hear the sounds of the ocean'. So whatever you choose to do, this place offers it all.

Quiet beach getaway

Great overlook property with plenty of space. We loved the fully enclosed deck and having to walk just a few minutes down to the beach. Very quiet area nestled on the edge of the state park and we found a great section of the Oregon coast trail right off the main entrance road!

We loved this property. It was such a treat to have an ocean view as a winter storm rolled in. The upstairs is a cozy gathering space with charm. Downstairs the bedrooms were comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating.

Clean, cozy house with beautiful view of the ocean. Short walk to beach. Right in the woods. No cell service but landline phones conveniently placed around the house. Well stocked kitchen (pans, plates, utensils, cups/glasses of all varieties).

Great location for privacy from crowds yet nearby to all the amenities of Cannon Beach when wanted. Wonderful beach at low tide for long walks, just need to navigate several feet of loose rock which can be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

We loved our stay here. The view was spectacular. We could hear the waves even with the windows closed. The house was clean and very comfortable. Everything was as described in the site. The fire was a big hit at the end of a long day of exploring the coast.

Falcon Cove

The home was exactly as advertised and even better, super clean, excellent condition and fully stocked. I have been coming to Cannon Beach for decades, but I like this beach even better, very few people even on warm, sunny days in the summer! We liked the beach access a few blocks north as it had stairs. Looking forward to coming back to this home in the future.
