Charming house located in a quiet ideal location, close to the beach and the centre of Oostduinkerke with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
De Witte Merel is a typical North Sea thatched cottage tastefully furnished with new kitchen and bathroom in spring 2026.
The outdoor area is distributed over two beautiful terraces to enjoy the sun, one of which is sheltered from the wind, and a pleasant fully fenced garden including a small house and a sandpit for children.

The ground floor is composed of:
- a pleasant living room (smart-TV with scarlet decoder and sonos speaker) with a beautiful decorative fireplace (which unfortunately does not work) and adjoining dining room (baby chair)
- an open fitted kitchen renovated in March 2026 (microwave oven, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, oven)
- large entrance hall with plenty of storage space
- a first bedroom with double bed (160 cm) and its bathroom (accessible to people with reduced mobility)
- a separate toilet

The ground floor is composed of:
- a master bedroom with double bed (180 cm)
- a children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4) with some games and books. A foldable baby cot with "real" mattress is also available.
- a large bathroom renovated in March 2026 with bubble bath and shower
- a separate toilet

In the eaves, you will find:
- a bedroom with 2 single beds (convertible into a 180 cm double bed)
- an open space with small desk and library

Rental from Friday to Friday during the school holidays.

Finally, the house has:
- a cellar, accessible from the kitchen, with space to store provisions, large fridge and freezer, ice maker, small table plancha, food processor
- a large garage to store beach or sports equipment. Five adult bikes (bikes are old but can be used to go to the beach) are available as well as a children's bike (for a child from +/- 4 to 7 years old) and a child seat. You will also find some beach games, garden furniture, ... Washing machine and dryer.

Outside:
- two beautiful terraces to enjoy the sun almost all day, one of which is sheltered from the wind with a picnic table for 8 to 10 people and a second with an outdoor lounge, ideal for an aperitif.
- a pleasant garden. Fully fenced, with a children's playhouse and sandpit
- a driveway with the possibility to park 3 cars
- easy and free parking on the street
