I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful secluded log home! The property was beautiful. The interior was clean and comfortable. And the host responded quickly to any questions I had.
Cabin was FANTASTIC! we had a large group and had PLENTY of space! Not one kid was bored-EVER! Everything was provided as advertised, house was spotless, and communication with the owner was fast and accurate! We spent a lot of time in Petoskey and Boyne, and it was in close proximity to it all. 10/10 recommend. We are definitely planning to stay again!
Quiet, secluded but close to skiing and charlevoix. Beautiful house with plenty of room. Nice, well equipped kitchen. Property was great to explore hiking. Would love to go back!

We had a wonderful experience at this home during our annual family trip to northern Michigan. The accommodations were terrific and exactly what we were looking for! The homeowners were quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home to our other family and friends!

We had a wonderful time at this property and enjoyed our stay. We had a few hiccups but Blake was very helpful and did his bbbest to accommodate us. I highly recommend this place if you and your family are looking for a very secluded place that isn’t too far from civilization.
The cabin was a great family getaway. There was plenty of room for all of us plus the dog. We didn’t get a chance to explore the trails which was something that drew me to the property in the first place. Next time we need to stay longer so that we can fit everything in. I would definitely stay there again.

We feel the same way Trisha as there is always too much to do in Northern Mi! Thank you for staying with us and hope to hose you again someday!

This property was wonderful to stay. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was secluded. The only downside was location and no hot tub. It was a 40 minute drive to torch lake (where we rented our boat).

We’re glad you enjoyed your stay! If you’re back in Northern MI and looking to stay on the water our other property may be a better fit (VRBO ID 2717753). Thanks!

We usually stayed at the Boyne Mt. Resort and this year with the growing family (14) and increased prices, we stayed off the resort. Beautiful home is exactly as pictured. The house is secluded with minimal landscaping, but if you appreciate privacy and the outdoors, you will love the location. It was a little drive for most of our activities, but well worth it for the price. Well stocked, better than the resort!

We shared this home with our two kids, our friends and their three kids (total of 9, kids ages 1-6) and had more than enough space.
The property is very private and beautiful, especially after it snows which we were fortunate to have happen a few times. We enjoyed the trails, particularly the one that ran down beside the creek.
The home is the definition of cozy. We appreciated the updated kitchen and wood burning fireplace and the kids played for many hours in the loft with the available toys. The basement space seems new, fresh and inviting. There isn’t a single spot that isn’t pleasant.
While we stayed at the property, we enjoyed a few quick trips into East Jordan, as well as multiple trips to Boyne resort for spa treatments and taking the kids to Avalanche Bay indoor water park.
A 10/10 trip for us with all of the boxes checked! Thank you to our hosts for granting us this opportunity by loaning us your incredible space!

Everything about the cabin was so good. So much space and so many things provided from the owner to make the stay much more fun. Ex: board games , Netflix , and sleds out in the barn for a fun day in the snow. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Thanks for staying with us Mirna and glad you were able to make it despite the blizzard!
Teepee hill was such a hit with our family! We were able to enjoy the winter wonderland with snowshoeing, sledding and even skiing for a day with a short drive over to Boyne. The kids loved exploring around the property and playing with all the fun toys. Thank you for a great time!
This cabin has been our family's retreat over the last several years, and now we want to share it with others! Over the last four years we built extensive hiking trails, added A/C, a hot tub, a swingset, and modernized the lower level of the cabin.
Why they chose this property
A great year round location! A great spot for fall color tours, less than a mile off a major snowmobile trail, 20 mins to Boyne Mtn or Shanty Creek for skiing or golf.
