By the Beach enjoys an amazing beach location, with eight large bedrooms, a loft, five full baths, a newly renovated kitchen, and three stories of amazing views of sunny Sandbridge Beach. You'll love challenging friends to games of pool and foosball in the game room. Take a refreshing dip in the big sparkling pool, grill some surf and turf on the gas grill, or take a few steps and hit the beach! The sunroom is a wonderful spot for a good read in the evenings, with an expansive wrap around Trex deck for great ocean and bay views. The spacious family room, with its dramatic cathedral ceilings, 60-inch TV, and panoramic views of the ocean, is filled with natural light, bringing the beachy feel of Sandbridge Island right inside. This home has 4,000 square feet of space, and there is more than enough room and fun things to do to make your family vacation comfortable and an experience to remember.

The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 8 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). If you are looking for luxury this is not your house but if you are looking to host a big group of people this is your dream house. It has plenty of bedrooms..game room..porch space and a wonderful pool. Beach is right across the street. Enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

This location cannot be beat. You are steps away from the beach! The house is fantastic and has been updated since the pictures were taken. We were very pleasantly surprised at check in. We really enjoyed the ample parking and extra fridge/freezers for all of our drinks and snacks. Another bonus were the bath products.

This house is in an ideal location, with easy beach access just across the street, and an ocean view from the big front porch, living room, and several of the bedrooms. It’s not super fancy/ updated inside, but it was plenty nice, clean, and comfortable for our extended family gathering. With lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, including one on the first floor, everyone had plenty of privacy and a comfortable place to sleep. We loved the big open family room, where we all hung out during a rainstorm. For people who stay here, be sure to note that you’ll need to bring your own hand soap and TP, but otherwise, the house is well-stocked, and the location is fantastic. We’d definitely be up for staying here again!

Great Stay in Sandbridge Virginia

The house was everything we were looking for a great stay. Very comfortable amenities and across the street from the beach. Vacasa the group responsible for handling any issues was phenomenal. Definitely recommend the property and the Vacasa group if traveling to the area.

Beats a hotel!!

This was for 4 guys doing a. Project in VA Beach. It was more fun to hang out in the house than a hotel parking lot. We made dinner, breakfast and what ever work could be done on lap toos.Very nice, off season so quite as heck.I could only imagine bringing my kids and grandkids here!! Thank you

We had a great time at the property. Couple of things that I would like to bring up are - some items in the house require maintenance. Also the beds in all bed rooms are not firm.

Right across the street from the beach!

What a fabulous time of year to hit the beach! We saw maybe 10 people during our whole 4-day stay! The house fit 13 of us easily and everyone had a quiet place to escape, if they needed to. The pool table and foozball kept the kids busy! The house is literally across the street from the entrance to the beach which made it easy to swing back home for lunch. Of course the kids got in the water even though it is November! The house is not super high-end so you were not walking on eggshells especially with a 14, 10 and 3 year ls running around. Thank you for making our Mom's 75th birthday one to remember!

Great location.

This house is a great location across the street from the beach access. There are parts of the house that have been updated like the kitchen, 1 en-suite bathroom, floors on the main living area. But there a lot of parts of the house that are showing its age & some of the furnishings are very outdated. (Solid furniture but older) The pool, deck, & pool furniture is old. This house has so much potential and wasn’t uncomfortable but just not a superstar house.

The house was suitable for our family. For the most part everything was clean except for behind night stands and around furniture. We were told that the pool would be closing the following week and while we were there they came and closed the pool. Our kids were very disappointed! The kitchen was well stocked. The cleanliness and early pool closure are what keeps me from giving this 4 stars.

Fabulous family getaway

We had 10 adults and 3 kids 5 and under for birthdays, including a milestone, and Mother's Day. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked out nearly perfectly and every couple had their own convenient bathroom and some privacy. The listing is very accurate and exactly as we expected based on photos. The house is more lived-in than fancy, which suited us perfectly, and it was on the whole very clean. The pool definitely didn’t seem to have been skimmed recently but otherwise appearsd to be in good shape. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and appliances and there was plenty of hand soap as well as some dish soap and travel toiletries, etc. The grill was usable, although one of the igniters wasn't working. Our biggest concern was the storm door on the closed in porch by the kitchen. There was no way to secure it or even latch it, so we had to be extremely vigilant to stop yhe kids from fashing down the steep steps to the pool. The two staircases were also a challenge for both the youngest and adults members of the family, and while we were pleasantly surprised that there were some baby gates in a closet, they weren’t sturdy enough to stay up. The biggest non-serious complaint: the puzzles were all mixed together, and one box didn’t match the puzzle inside it at all! Of course, the most important thing was the beach, just steps away. We would definitely stay again!

Very well equipped kitchen and good location although when we booked it, there was an empty lot across the street and it was described as a “panoramic view of the ocean”.Upon arrival there was a house being built across the street complete with an out house and a dumpster. Except for the main entrance, which has spiders, cobwebs, and dirt, the rest of the house was clean.the grill was extremely dirty and had mold growing on it. The whole house could use a coat of paint and the sunroom has Rotten wood by the windows and neither outside door closes completely. Three of the deck chairs are broken. The dishwasher is missing a stop on the upper rack which makes it come out too far and it is difficult to put back in when loaded with dishes. The “basketball court” is nonexistent, and the hoop is broken. the king bed balcony cannot be used because the door handle is broken and the slider does not slide; the screen for that door is blowing in the wind. The dryer does not work. We should be compensated for this gross misrepresentation of this property.

Entire house: -Inside needs painting and updating -Bug Prevention -Outside needs power wash and extermination treatment -Ants in kitchen -filters need changing Outside: -Spiders everywhere, eggs at front entrance -Sliding doors are hard to open and some missing screens -Furniture: Rusty, dirty, broken, and mismatched Pool: Liner dirty -Missing ladder (misrepresented in the online photo) -Chemicals were applied mid-afternoon one day and made pool inaccessible for several hours -Pool light broken -Had to request the pool area be cleaned -Spiders at all doors and windows -Dirty, rusty grills; one unusable state Bathrooms: -Missing stoppers for bathtubs, preventing baths for children -Ripped, moldy shower liner Kitchen: -Upgrade pots and pans, and knives -Disgusting ceiling fan above kitchen -dirty kitchen ceiling Living Room: -Limited seating -Dirty, smelly area rug TVs: -Some work, others do not -Missing batteries in remote controllers -TVs are outdated and should be updated Beds: -Uncomfortable mattresses -Cot is not acceptable for comfortable sleeping; can feel metal bar thru the mattress Dryer: -Dryer vent broken- REPAIRED AT END OF WEEK Final comment: run down house needs a lot of TLC! Missreprented on VACASA site. We feel reasonably compensation is required.
