This was a great house for a family vacation in Ely. We loved the outdoor spaces and the ability to bring our two dogs. Kelly made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is great for walking around town. The only downside is it's on a somewhat busy street (during the day) but it was quiet at night.
My wife Deb and I stayed three nights and this place was very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located with grocery stores and gas stations nearby. It was quiet at night for sleeping and the beds were good too. Our host Kelly was easy to get a hold of and was very attentive. This is a good place to stay when visiting the Ely area.
We planned to do a couple of hikes around Ely then just hang out in town! We found a couple great hole in the wall establishments and put 12 miles in hiking. The cabin was perfect for our stay; very clean, very easy to get in and out of and the perfect location. Can’t wait to book again
Ely is a great town, winter or summer, and this is a wonderful base from which to explore. It was exactly as described and had plenty of room for the three of us to spread out. Highly recommended!
Nice unit in a convenient location. With that said, being on a busy street, traffic could sometimes be loud.
Extremely clean which was greatly appreciated. Patio in back of unit was an extra bonus.
The beds and living room furniture we're very comfortable. The kitchen could have been stocked a little bit better.
We were in walking distance of both the grocery store and the liquor store which was convenient.
I appreciated the cleanliness!
Overall it was nice. The kitchen could offer a few more utensils and serving bowls. The twin bed on the porch was okay,however, you could hear the neighbors on the other side of the wall at night. I guess we didn't realize there was an adjoining property. We would give a recommendation for those traveling up to this area.

Could use more amenities
The property was amazing. The only probem we had that there really wasn't enough towels for 4 people for 4 days. They could also use more towels in the kitchen area. The only other problem was that the grill did not have propane and we had to buy a small grill to use. The bedrooms could use better air conditioning also. They also said there was a hair dryer and there was no hair dryer.
Comfortable place to stay that is close to all sites and stores. Basic amenities are modest but functional, beds are very comfortable. Surprising sound proofing that block road traffic that is right at the front door.
Improvements needed: Blinds and curtains needed in several areas since the location is right on the corner of a major road and side road that is very close. Heating system was flaky. Thank goodness it wasn't cold in the first week of October! Several smaller things were broken or not working, including a lamp. Owner was alerted.
We had a great time at this property! It met all of our needs and was comfortable for a family of three and one dog. Nice recent updates. Loved the grill and patio too! Great location and property manager was very kind and responsive when we had a question upon arriving, even after 10pm!
5 Separate units (3 in operation with 2 others in the works). Only 1 mile from the Wolf Center and only 2 miles in the other direction to the Bear Center which were both very enjoyable. Convenient to downtown shops and there is a nice rotary park nearby. Ely is nice and only about 2 hours from Voyageurs and 2 hours in the other direction from Lake Superior.
Great property perfect for a weekend getaway. Centrally located in Ely could walk to restaurants and shops or less than a 2 mile drive. Property was extremely clean and full furnished. Would recommend for anyone traveling in the Ely area.

The property is uniquely located, allowing for ease of access during all seasons. The elegant, yet comfortable loft is approximately 1250 sq ft.
Our home comfortably sleeps five guests with two bedrooms, one extra twin and one bath. The space was recently renovated and features a fully equipped kitchen, new flooring, and an updated bathroom.
We supply all your basic kitchen needs, linens, extra blankets/pillows, towels, and basic toilet items.
We will leave you a list of local spots we like to visit, as well as a map to the snowmobile trail.
This was a year round private residence, so it is well maintained and comfortable.
