We are a boutique vacation rental company​

As a small, local business that is focused on guest experience, we are unique in that we not only own and manage all our vacation rentals, but we have also built or remodeled each one!​ Each boutique home is our creative outlet and is forever evolving as we work to perfect the experience.​

I grew up loving to build. I would walk with my best friend to the lumber yard with my red ryder wagon and spend my allowance on whatever wood I could afford. Lewis is the second home I have got to build. Getting to build a home from the ground up is such a mix of endurance and expression. At some point you find a vision for the home you are building and then you try to be true to it. You battle your budget, contractors, time, and compromise all in the pursuit of your vision.

I remember standing on the second floor looking out over the great room and wanting to keep that sense of shared space. The post and beam glass wall is the result. Half of the furniture was designed and commissioned for this home. I sweated the details and fought hard for this space to become what it is. Lewis is open and full of natural light. It is comfortable and even a bit luxurious. It is your space to escape to, spoil yourself with and remember what it means to relax.

Lewis represents four years of construction, creative expression and collaboration with local artists and artisans. It is deeply personal yet designed to share.

I am currently working on the common grounds east of Lewis & Clark. There is usually 2 people working M-F. I am adding game courts, a fire pit, a shed, lighting, and landscaping. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to message me.

Beautiful place to stay

Amazing cabin! My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend, and it was very relaxing. We loved the design of the place, and the obvious care that went into choosing details and decorations. The owner was very communicative about construction that was going on next door (which we knew about before booking). We also got to re-play Goof Troop for Super NES, a game from my childhood, on the arcade console. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again!

Incredible cabin - must stay

The Lewis cabin is designed to perfection. It has modern amenities in a cozy, updated cabin. Everything has been thought of for you, just show up and enjoy. Most well stocked and quality kitchen of any rental. It's just a lovely place, with a short walk to the beach and short drive into town, the location was great. We loved it and will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Fantastic house with great amenities

The quality of everything - flatware, appliances, bedding, woodwork, lighting, yard… is impressive. This feels like going to stay at your wealthy uncle’s house who has all the video games you could possibly want, more yard games than you k ow what to do with and the high end finishes like a large dual head shower and a bidet toilet that does everything but sing to you. Be prepared to want to move in when you stay here - it’s that nice.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

While Long Beach is not really our cup of tea, we chose this location not for the beach but for the house and all that it has to offer. Nearly all of our time during Thanksgiving week was spent at the house since it provided all that we needed. The kitchen is truly amazing and has a wide variety of amenities which served all of our needs and then some. The architecture of the house is stunning and you can really tell how much thought went into its design. The beds are extremely comfortable, the hot tub is clean and well cared for and the arcade games were a wonderful surprise! Thank you for a very memorable Thanksgiving trip that we will surly never forget!

Nice little cabin

This was a very nice little cabin to stay in. We really enjoyed all of the amenities within the property, and the location was nice. The indirect lighting was especially nice while enjoying a movie, either in the livingroom or the bedroom. The large dual head walk-in shower on the main floor was especially nice for us, with my wife having limited mobility. There were only a few downsides. I did not realize that all of the bedding was down when I reviewed and booked this location. My wife has allergies to feathers, and this posed a bit of a problem for us when we arrived. We were able to make things work, but you may consider changing to hypo-allergenic bedding, or making the fact that there is down in the cabin more prominent in the listing. The bed was also uncomfortable, even with the down topper. The only other downside was the construction going on at the property. Thank you for having this nice little getaway place listed. We would definitely consider staying again, knowing what we would have to do to accommodate some of the downsides.

Simply Amazing!

Not enough words to describe how AMAZING our stay at the Lewis property was. So much thought, detail, and craft put into EVERY inch of the place. Spent hours staring at the craftsmanship of the house (amazing light, not a bad board or misplaced piece of craftsmanship anywhere). Purred at the EXTENSIVE amount of kitchen appliances and glassware (I mean -- it's MASSIVE). My inner child had a serious geek fest over the custom made (and lovingly detailed) arcade game that had thousands of titles including some of my (very dated) faves like Tron, Spy Hunter, and GALAGA! The biggest set physical games and puzzles you'll see outside a museum. And when you run out of energy counting All the Things this house has, a lovely wind-down in the hot tub or OUTDOOR BATH is in order. Oh yeah, the ocean is a reasonably short walk away too if that's your thing (which it was for us, of course). Sunrise and sunset walks with our pup was a great way to bookend each day we stayed at Lewis. Simply put: we were spoiled by this place and so very lucky to have found it and have a great host in Toby. Can't recommend the property of him enough. Can't wait to return.

The most luxurious shower ever!!!

My new husband and I stayed here, with our golden retriever, for our mini honeymoon and it was so perfect! The house is beautifully built, with all of the kitchen, bathroom, entertainment and outdoor amenities you could want. The hot tub worked great and was perfect temp. The gaming cabinet was an amazing surprise as we didn’t read about it beforehand but being game lovers it was perfect for newly wed competition with our favorite classic arcade games. And when I say the shower is luxurious, I really mean it’s the most amazing shower I have ever used and want that exact one in my dream home. Toby was very accommodating when we asked to bring our dog with us and we made sure to follow his rules about no scratching the wood floors with nails, not damaging the amazing screens in the sunroom, and limiting hair shedding (we brought our Dyson to vacuum with because our dog is a hair factory). Some small things I would recommend to make this house the absolute perfect vacation is to possibly spray or leave some mosquito repellent options for guests because they were very bad this time of year in the yard. We got bit a lot, even when drenched with OFF, and I even got bit on my forehead while in the hot tub. The bugs kept us from really enjoying all of the outdoor games that the house offers because we didn’t want to be more itchy. Also, the only reason I put 4 stars for cleanliness is though the live plants throughout the house are lovely, they were very dusty.

Beautiful unique cabin

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this cabin. It was very clean. The grounds are meticulously landscaped. The inside has an industrial and open concept with high-end appliances. We didn’t do much cooking but the the kitchen is extremely well-stocked and organized which I love. Everything is clearly labeled. If you like order, this is your place! The decorations and fixtures throughout the cabin are sophisticated and tasteful. The bathrooms are gorgeous, spacious and the downstairs toilet is super high-tech. If you’ve never tried a fancy bidet this is your chance ha ha. The cabin is in a quiet setting on a private road conveniently located close to downtown Long Beach. We enjoyed driving into town for food and to see the beach. We also really liked the hot tub. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom but the upstairs bedroom has a stunning view of the downstairs through a glass wall and there are large windows throughout the whole cabin. Even though there’s no central AC it was very cool just keeping the doors next to the TV room open (there is a permanent screen door there to keep out insects). Furniture was also nice and very comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into planning and constructing this cabin. The owner Toby is a very responsive host. He was very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place to any small family, couple or pair of couples who want to bring their pets with them on vacation.

Beautiful beach getaway!

The Lewis house is a gorgeous home close to downtown Long Beach but you feel as if you far away from the busyness. The house it self is full of gorgeous woodwork and handmade cabinets, built ins etc. We had fun cooking most of our meals in this well thought out kitchen. The kitchen has almost any tool, small appliance, dish or glassware you need. All the leather furniture kept us on edge for fear of something happening to it as we are an active bunch but beautiful nonetheless. The in-laws and us enjoyed our stay!

I grew up in the PNW and always loved being outside. I have great memories of fishing rivers and lakes with my brothers, and hiking trails with my friends. But no place captured me quite like the beach. The smell of the salt air before I could even see the ocean was always the perfect tease. The feel of sand under my bare feet as I would charge down the beach, the perfect tactile touch. The unending ocean stretched out beyond the horizon methodically rolling to shore, always gave me the sense of endless space. The sound of the waves rhythmic murmur, the perfect soundtrack to my sense of wonder. The smell of the bonfire lingering in my sweatshirt, my treasured bonus when the trip was over.

My family's favorite place to stay at the beach was an old board and batten cedar cabin that was rustic, open and cozy. My 2 brothers, sister, and I would scour the house for games, books or anything fun that we could do. My mom would put the food away in the kitchen and start to make something that always smelled like the perfect companion to our growing hunger. My dad would assign the beds and then start trying to set up the Tv and VCR that he brought. Movie’s after dinner was such a rare treat.

Simply put, my homes are an ode to these memories. They are personal but designed to share. They are an outlet for my creativity; the unending project for someone who loves a good project.

I spend many Friday evenings driving to the beach with my dog, Patty, in a truck loaded with tools and supplies. There is always something that needs to be fixed or replaced. If I'm lucky I will get an evening where the wind is calm and the stars are on full display. I will set down my toolbelt, whistle to my dog and walk to the beach, pulling a wagon loaded with firewood and a cooler.
