THE CRAB TRAP

The address is 325 Lakeview Dr. Slidell,LA, 70458, just 7 miles from New Orleans and about 20 minutes from downtown.

Enjoy the 250 ft pier with covered area for fishing, crabbing or just relaxing!!

There are a number of crab traps and nets
for our guests to enjoy, as well as a few rods and reels. Also, we have a couple of Poles for the younger kids.

We've had a lot of success crabbing right off of the dock, a favorite pastime for both kids and adults alike.

There are also bright fishing lights at the end of the pier for night fishing!! Trout must be at least 13.5 inches to keep and a fishing license a must for over 12 year olds. This can be purchased very near the property or at Walmart.

Please bring your pool & lake floats and toys and enjoy everything Lake Pontchartrain has to offer.

There is a bait and supply shop just a couple of blocks away if you need bait or equipment. The Blue Crab Restaurant is also very close to the marina. You are welcome to bring down your boat or jet skis if you wish.

THERE ARE TO BE NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS, PARTIES OR GATHERINGS OF ANY KIND ON THE PROPERTY.

Bring your garbage down, put it in the can under the steps. If it is a Monday, please drag it out to the street. Thank you.!!

My teenage girls and I adore the water. We love spending time at the lake house fishing, crabbing and boating. The 250 pier over the lake provides excellent fishing and a relaxing space to spend the days together.

What makes this property unique

This house is walking distance to "The Blue Crab" a wonderful seafood restaurant on the water. They generally have a live band on the weekend and outside seating to enjoy the entertainment and the weather. Point Break Volleyball is also walking distance.
