Our stay couldn’t have been better. The treehouse was so cozy, clean, and perfect for the two of us. We thought the location was perfect, woodsy/cute near Springfield but also not far from Branson! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
The treehouse cabin was adorable! It’s super cozy with a comfy bed, sheets, and duvet. Loved the open shower too. The location is very close to town, so plenty of DoorDash options, but also has a secluded feel with the view of the River. Mark and Tracy were great hosts- highly recommend!
We had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Maple Tree House. The setting alone makes it special—the river below creates such a peaceful atmosphere, and the view from the tree house is great, especially in the quiet of the morning and evening.Inside, the space is designed with a warm, cozy aesthetic that perfectly matches the natural surroundings. Every detail of the interior design felt intentional, comfortable, and inviting. Despite the cold temperatures outside, the heat worked exceptionally well and kept the tree house perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. Not to mention, the host is amazing and was able to accommodate us for a reschedule due to the recent snowstorm. If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with both charm and comfort, the Sugar Maple Tree House is a fantastic choice. We would happily stay here again.
Dwelling was amazing ! Shower was very nice! We really enjoyed our stay here. Only thing I could recommend would better instructions for the trail/caves. Wasn’t sure where to walk to. Other than that it was amazing !
We loved the scenery and the uniqueness of the venue. It was also super easy to find and get access to.The review asked about our pool, but to my knowledge, there isn't a pool. The only thing negative I can say is that it's fairly close to the highway and can be a bit noisy at times.
We just needed one night to stay in order to pick our daughter up from camp the next day. This was perfect! Cute, comfortable and different from a boring hotel. I only wish the weather would have cooperated so we could explore the grounds further. Loved the king bed and the super-sized shower! Great stay!
Nice place close to everything…unfortunately we lost water on Saturday morning and had to rent a hotel room…still waiting on our refund for the last day…I understand it wasn’t anyone’s fault…Thank You
We loved the treehouse we recently stayed in over the weekend. Everything was as it was described on site. The only thing a little taxing was the walk up the boardwalk to the treehouse. It is rather steep and can be quite slick. Take a flashlight if dark. We loved our stay and will stay here again.
What a fabulous place! The inside was lovely. It was so peaceful and I loved coming out on the porch in the morning. The sound of traffic in the morning was much more than at night, but it still felt great to be in nature. Definitely hold on to the railings when walking back to your car in the AM. The morning dew makes the walkway slick. Also, watch for spiderwebs outside in the morning! But you are in the forest, so you should expect things like that. Overall, we were absolutely blown away by this place!
Great experience overall!!! Clean, neat, and exactly as shown. Well coordinated decor inside and out. The only concern is that the steepest part of the climb to the treehouse can be slick with the leaves on the walk way or when it's damp.
This place is beautiful and unique. Easy walk around to the James River where we caught everything from Small Mouth Bass to Catfish. The only caution is that it is a small walk on an incline to reach the treehouse. We had no trouble with it, but if you have knee or leg troubles we recommend you stay in the bigger cabin lower on the ground. Hosts also responded very quickly to questions. Outdoor shower is awesome.

Welcome to Affiniity on the River! We started our adventure with Affinity Riverside Estate, the venue on the Hill above the cabins. When we were able to purchase the riverfront property beteen the venue and river, we considered bulding a house for ourselves but decided the property was just too amazing not to share with you! Come and visit, take a hike by the river, enjoy a glass of wine on the deck, and see what Affinity on the River is all about!
