Wayzata is a lovely spot and this house is ideally situated. No need for a car rental or Uber/Lyft. We got our steps in and saved some money doing so. Plenty of grocery and restaurant options. The local gift shopping is quite pricey, only a couple of affordable shops. For example, 500 for a simple shift dress is a bit out of any of our price ranges.The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked. A variety of snacks were left for us which was a nice touch.

The house was clean and picked up. Incredible location and a super polite host.Unfortunately, the home layout was odd. The main floors only have one bathroom and the second is in an unfinished basement that requires you to walk down in the dark. I had to kill 4 spiders before starting the shower. Also, there is no dishwasher.The location really is the best so if that is your first priority, this could be the perfect house for you!

Wedding weekend.

We hosted a wedding at a nearby establishment. It was close enough for our family of 7 to walk to the events of the weekend. A place to get away and take a break when needed! The snacks were a hit! I was unprepared for the train but it didn’t interrupt sleep.

Nice but inaccurate

This place was super cute and comfortable and in a great location. However I must share that the listing has incorrect bed details. There are 2 rooms on the upper floor (each has a queen bed - we measured). There is 1 room on the main floor with 2 double beds and an office with a pull out full bed. There are no king beds as described. Also the beds are “sleep number” style but all the batteries in the remotes are dead so no adjustments were possible.

Perfect location

We attended a wedding at the hotel across the street, the location was perfect, since it was such a short walk. We had a large age range so the convenience was very important. The house was beautiful and clean, many unexpected extras that show the care given to the home as well as the guests. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family!!!
