Amazing relaxing stay

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was very relaxing and secluded which we wanted. There is a small town a couple miles away that was very cute and welcoming. Look foward to another trip in the future!

Great cabin and property!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It had everything we needed, and the property itself was awesome. We enjoyed hiking the trail so well-maintained by the owner, and we even hung our hammocks up near the stream to read--amazing!

This home was lovely! High up on the mountain side the views are incredible. The house was clean and well taken care of. We've been staying in Monterey VA for several years and this is the nicest place so far. We already plan to return. Great owners were extremely nice.

Outstanding Highland County Cabin

I've stayed in Highland County many times and this is by far the best place. Beautiful location. Large, immaculate cabin with many amenities such as dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. Everything in perfect working order. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, accommodations and enjoyed the cutout both evenings in June because nights are cool. Owners very responsive and have provided linens, towels and fire wood. We will definitely return soon!

Wish I had a longer stay at Nicholson Run

Beautiful piece of land and well appointed home with everything I needed for a long weekend. I enjoyed the hiking trail on the property and the town of Monterey. I took some trips on my bike to warm Springs and went for a hike at Seneca rock. I will definitely stay there again

Wonderful place

This cabin was exactly as described. The place was so clean and wonderful. There was a momma and baby deer that we saw several times. The hosts were wonderful. I cant speak highly enough of this cabin. We highly recommend it.

Love this place!

This was our third trip here and we both love it. Its away from it all and quite secluded, yet in 5 minutes you can be in Monterey to pick up anything you forgot to bring. The weather wasn't great over our weekend, but we still had a great time. I hope to be back many more times!
