Home is great for spending time with family & friends. Kitchen is fully stocked w/ brand new appliances. Large patio in the fully fenced backyard with privacy fence is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the cool evening air while your kids play. Note: there are 2 smart TVs in the house - one downstairs and one upstairs for convenience.

Needs cleaning and updating

Large spacious home that can accommodate large parties. Upstairs master windows cracked. Upstairs guest bathroom had a wasp nest in it. Bathrooms were not clean. Smells packed up. Needs a good deep cleaning and lawn care. Wash clothes and towels needs washing. House is nice and spacious but only two televisions. Overall good stay.

Hi Tawanna, we want to follow up on a few items mentioned in your review. (1)We found no evidence of a wasp's nest in the bathroom; we asked you for additional information and photos but received no response. (2) Our property caretaker sends us photos and video of the home before and after each stay, so we understood that everything was clean prior to your arrival. (3) Re: stagnant air, there are no vents in any of the bathrooms as with most homes built in the 1970s in Huntsville. (4) We do advertise that the home only has two televisions, and we plan to keep it that way as many guests prefer not to have one in every bedroom. Hopefully in the future you might consider this amenity before booking OR clarify with the host beforehand. (5) Lastly, we wish you would have reached out during your stay - we provided you a welcome message before checking in and said if you have any questions or concerns to please contact us anytime, as we are responsive 24/7, and our property caretaker is right next door so could have responded to any issue or request right away. Thank you again for booking and we'll be sure to make adjustments going forward to account for the claims you made in your review.

Great for family wedding

We enjoyed the property and location. We were here for a family wedding so we didn’t spend much time at the rental so for that it was great. A few little things: some bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper and the kitchen needs more plates and cups. Overall, it was exactly what we needed.

Nice place

The house is located near downtown which was wonderful for us since we had a wedding to attend. The house had plenty of space for five adults and two toddlers. Overall it was a nice stay for the weekend.

Beautiful home

This home was huge and a perfect fit for our family as we attended a wedding in the area, there was space for everyone. That being said the house was not very clean and I had to personally wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes, as there were visible dirt marks from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms, there was about a half roll of TP in each bathroom and one extra roll for the whole house with 3 bathrooms i would think there would be at least 3 extra rolls. There was some linen available, but bring your own as there was not enough for everyone I did have to purchase additional supplies. There were only two TVs in the house with five bedrooms and 2 livingrooms one would think there would be a few more TVs. The backyard area looked very nice and inviting in the pictures, but it wasn't clean, the chairs were dirty and there were leaves all over. Not much in the communication area, I had one question that was responded to quickly, but I didn't have time to address the concerns after check in. If there is a cleaning fee, it would be nice if the home was cleaned properly upon check in. Beautiful home and great for big groups, if these areas were addressed I would stay again.

Grandparents, parent, 4 children under 9: great choice

First, the weather: heat index over 100 degrees/and pop up thunderstorms/rain. So, most of the time spent indoors. Yard needed mowing but with a church parking lot and open mowed lawn at the end of the culdesac, as well as playing catch in the road, it served fine for getting most of the energy out of the young ones. My husband thought the condition of driveway and sidewalk will be a liability concern. just MAKE SURE you watch your step and supervise the elderly (we brought 90 year old successfully into the house). The interior design was perfect for us. It’s so hard to find rentals with twin beds/bunks and the number of bathrooms we prefer. As the grandparents, we took the suite on the main level which was the only bathroom on main level..but easily assessable to all. Upstairs has 4 BR/2 baths. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. The laundry room houses a half bath in the garage which is great for quick access. The garage was used by the kids when rain started. Padded floor. Super clean. Empty. Well stocked Gourmet kitchen. variety of oils/spice rack/brand new appliances. The island is very useful but makes the kitchen very cramped. We did fine. The pass through window above the sink opens directly to the wet bar in the tv room. It was a perfect choice for our group. We will return.
