This condo is amazing, definitely the best we’ve stayed in at San Luis. The bunk room for the kids was perfect. The host is very responsive. The condo is maintained extremely well. The kitchen was well stocked. The check in process couldn’t be any easier. The views are awesome and this unit also has motorized shutters for the balconies, so you can completely close off the balcony from the kids. This provided great peace of mind with the kids sleeping in the bunk room. We will definitely stay at this condo again.
Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. Beautiful views and great pool/swim up bar. We have stayed at other condos in this building but this one is the best maintained along with great communication from the owner. Would love to visit again soon.
This condo is in the San Luis Resort. It is beach front with beach view from every room. The condo is very nicely and comfortably furnished and spacious with 2 full bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Family friendly even for larger groups. The kitchen is well equipped, so it is possible to cook full meals. We have enjoyed our stay very much and would love to visit again.
Incredible view. Wonderful restaurants in the hotel and near by. Parking was great, we have stayed at the Condos at the San Luis many times, but this condo was the best equipped and organized, yet. The decor was very nice and beds were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful Vacation.

The condo was fabulous! It was very clean and spacious with plenty of sleeping room. In addition, we were able to use the San Luis amenities, we enjoyed the pool, gift shop and restaurants. The owner and son were great with responding back in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Galveston.
We were very disappointed with several aspects of this rental.•Only 3 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 3 bathrooms during a 4-day/3-night stay with 6 adults. We had to purchase more ourselves, and the owner refused to provide additional when asked. This is absolutely unacceptable.•One of the living room shutters was broken and would not open, which blocked the full ocean view advertised.•The closets and dresser drawers were either locked and/or filled with old paint cans, maintenance supplies, holiday storage, and miscellaneous old toys/games, leaving no room for guests to store personal belongings.•The A/C never cooled below 75 degrees, even with shutters closed 70% of the time, making the space extremely uncomfortable and couldn’t enjoy the view so we could stay somewhat cool by keeping the shutters closed. •Loose and loud door knobs throughout the property.•2 out of 3 TVs and remotes did not work, which was frustrating.-toilet paper holder roll broken in half bathGiven these multiple issues—especially the lack of basic essentials, broken amenities, and maintenance/storage problems—we feel this property was misrepresented and not maintained to an acceptable standard. We believe a partial reimbursement is warranted.

Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to make each guest’s stay enjoyable, and I truly wish I’d had the chance to address your concerns in real time. While we do have a manager who helps oversee the condo, I also provide my personal number and encourage guests to reach out directly if anything comes up. I was never contacted, so the comment that “the owner refused” is simply not accurate. Had I known, I would have gladly assisted or sent someone over if something urgent came up. I would also like to share that it was a three nights stay and not a four nights stay as you indicated. At the end of a busy summer season, routine maintenance items do pop up, and we can only act on the information we’re given—so I genuinely appreciate the feedback. I am personally unaware of the toilet paper issue, however when renting a short term rental, it is very different from a hotel and additional items of this such are not provided for the entire stay.
As for the condo itself, it is our family’s two-bedroom vacation condo, not a hotel. That means some closets and drawers are locked for our use, but there is still ample guest storage, including a large dresser in the primary bedroom with 8 drawers and a cabinet with shelves in the bunk room. The A/C was recently serviced and is functioning properly, though with summer beach temperatures over 100°, it can feel warmer than expected. One of the nine hurricane shutters was awaiting repair, but all three patios and multiple large windows remained open for full ocean views. Guests also enjoy the many amenities of the San Luis—the pool, restaurants, shops, garage parking, and beach access—along with the comfort of the condo itself. In four years of ownership, we’ve never received a review of this nature, and we stand by both our listing and the many positive reviews from guests who have enjoyed their stay.
We take great pride in our condo and in sharing it with others. This is not just a rental property but our family’s home, and we work hard to keep it comfortable, welcoming, and well maintained for every guest. Most visitors find it to be a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Galveston, and we’re committed to making sure it stays that way.
Condo was very well stocked. Great location. Was even better than what we thought it would be. Host respeonded promptly when contacted. Will definitely be looking to book again on our next trip.
