Creekside Cabin is a full house with three levels, located on 3 acres of gorgeous wooded land in Talking Rock Creek Resort.

The property spans both sides of Long Branch Creek that flows just a few feet away from the back deck and fire pit. Wether you're sitting on the screened in porch, or you open the family room door, the sounds of the creek are sure to melt the stress away. Seriously, put your phone down, kick back, and just chillax.

Creekside has two bedrooms each with a Queen bed, and a bunk room with two Queens and two Twins. There are two bathrooms with showers, but no tub. All towels, TP, and basic toiletries are included.

On the front of the house is a large deck with ceiling fans, the screened porch, a huge deck and tons of yard that runs alongside Long Branch Creek. The hot tub sits on the back porch facing the creek.

Creekside Cabin is the definition of country cabin. From the wood panels walls, rustic and tree lined roads, to sparse neighbors, it's the perfect getaway. Time almost stands still when you're there, but almost everyone says their only regret is they wish they had booked her for extra day.

Surrounded by lush forest views, this well-appointed cabin is ideal for a getaway in the North Georgia mountains. Access an array of community amenities from pools and on-site fishing, to tennis and basketball courts. Spend the day fishing and boating at Carters Lake or our private TRCR pond, go hiking at Amicalola Falls or numerous other hikes If shopping and dining is more your style, Ellijay is about 30 minutes away, and Blue Ridge is about 40 minutes. There are tons of wineries, and they are surprisingly good! At the day's end, relax with all the comforts of home, 72" TV, fully equipped kitchen, wood fired pizza oven, RecTeq wood fired grill, hot tub, and more!

If you like to cook, I highly suggest you Google Ooni pizza ovens, and RecTeq grills before coming up. The pizza is fun, but if you watch a video or two, you'll have a better outcome. For the RecTeq grill, it's super easy to use, but you can do a lot with it. You can fire it up to 750 degrees to sear, or you can set it super low n slow for a slow cooked and smoked delight. It's electric and the wood pellets feed in for some killer flavors.

HOT TUB: Extra large hot tub is great for groups. We provide portioned amounts of chemicals to add as you use the hot tub. We highly encourage that YOU enforce that all your guests rinse off before entering the hot tub. "It's your water" and we start you out clean and ready. If you don't want to site in a communal bathtub with Uncle Bob, or you suspect little Johnny had too many Mountain Dews, tell them to shower and take care of business before getting in.

GAME ROOM: Wet bar, kitchenette with ice maker, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher, board games, video game, 55-inch flat-screen TV, Netflix, YouTube, and more.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, cooking basics & spices, coffeemaker with built-in grinder, Starbucks coffee, blender, pizza dough maker, picnic basket, and more.

INDOOR LIVING: 4 flat-screen TVs (72" Living room) Man Cave/game room has 55" Smart 4K, (Bedroom #1 has 43" Smart 4K and Bedroom #2 has 43" Smart TV), fireplace, games, 8-person dining table

GENERAL: Towels/linens, washer/dryer, complimentary starter toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fans, beach and hot tub towels.

PETS: We love dogs and they are welcome. We charge a very nominal pet fee that covers the added time it takes to sweep, mop and clean up after your furry friend. We provide water bowls, The Original Poop Bags, dog towels, and dog beds, but we do not have crates. Please do not allow dogs on furniture, especially beds. JoAnna will know, she will send me a text with pictures, and she is gonna charge me, so I will be forced to charge you. Just don't do it - thanks!

CONCIERGE PLUS TEAM: Ask us about Kayak or paddle rentals (free delivery to cabin or small fee to Carters Lake), executive chefs, yoga instructors, masseuse, pit roasters, wine tours (van rentals for groups or per person), bouncy house rentals, and more. Perfect cozy cabin by creek

We have been renting cabins in Ellijay for years, but this was by far the best cabin we have stayed at yet. We all enjoyed the adult bunk beds, the amazing creek and hot tub! The scenery driving in and out of the resort is beautiful. We look forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We did day trips to Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Jasper and even the Georgia Aquarium. We enjoyed our afternoons and evening by the fire pit while the kids and dog played in the stream. Very relaxing and peaceful location. Would stay here again. Wi-Fi is great too for those who need internet connection.

The views on the ride up to the cabin were stunning! The cabin is just as pictured, absolutely adorable and very comfy! There were 10 of us and plenty of room for all. We were close enough to Blue Ridge and Ellijay that we visited both and enjoyed many adventures! Paul is a great host, very quick to respond to any questions. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

Nice cabin

I spent a few days at the cabin with my grandchildren. They loved the bunk bedroom with their own TV. We only used the hot tub once because the outside temperature was very warm but it was nice. We had fun playing in the creek and had a campfire one evening, cooking hot dogs and s’mores. Wonderful memories. We also appreciate that it was dog friendly!

The entire family enjoyed the stay at the cabin. The cabin is stocked out with all amenities needed for the stay. The creek in the back of the house was a perfect setting. Perfect Peaceful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this well appointed cabin! The sound of the creek from the screened porch was so relaxing and peaceful! When you enter, it is obvious that great attention has been paid to cleanliness, comfort and decor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need! We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit and lots of fellowship by the creek. The owner was very gracious and quick to respond to messages. We have stayed in many cabins and this one ranks among one of the best!

Beautiful and wonderful time! However we had a frustrating experience trying to use gate code /key.

Great except for gate code and key. It never worked for any of our group and we entered by other vehicles coming into resort. Very frustrating! Beautiful area and cabin was wonderful.

I had a lovely stay at Creekside Cabin. The house is located a bit far from town in a mountain resort, but it served as the perfect home base for hikes in the area. Paul was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, especially when the power went out due to a storm (made for great star watching). My dog loved romping in the woods and I enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch listening to the creek. The cabin was clean, check-in process was easy, and Paul (with help from Joanna) was a great host. Would definitely book with him again!

Beautiful cabin by the creek!

Our family had the best time at the cabin and exploring the area. My only complaint is not being able to stay longer. We also had an amazing surprise when arriving as it began to snow( we’re Floridians and had never experienced snow before) our stay was comfortable and we had all the necessities. I do recommend maybe a few more mixing bowls for the kitchen. Also a heads up in order to get to the cabin there are some pretty steep hills. It was a bit scary for us but by the time we left we got used to them. Overall the cabin is a relaxing secluded little spot for the whole family to enjoy. We hope to come back to the area and explore more.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

My husband and I, along with our Golden Retriever puppy Casey, spent several days at Creekside Cabin to see the Fall colors. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with supplies providing everything we needed. Additional amenities, like the game room, were a delight. The area was breathtaking! The Autumn leaves were beautiful. Getting to the cabin was like an E-ticket thrill ride with the steep hills and curvy roads, but there are lovely small towns nearby to explore. Communication was excellent, and Paul and Jo Anna were responsive to any questions we had. During our stay the area experienced some freezing cold days, so we weren’t able to take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit, but just listening to the creek was so peaceful. We made some wonderful memories!

Great Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend. Paul was so easy to work with and answered any questions we had quickly. The cabin was in a beautiful location & really had everything we needed. The bunk room downstairs was perfect for my grandchildren. They loved the arcade game & I even slept downstairs with them. The hot tub was a surprise that was enjoyed by all. I was totally amazed at the WIFI service. Usually in the mountains you have poor service but the service was great! We enjoyed one night by the fire pit watching the kids play in the creek and then playing hide-n-seek in the trees. It was a great weekend with my family. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Amazing property and host

Wow...what an amazing stay this was. First, let me say that Paul is an incredible host. He answered my questions within minutes. This property was magical. We spent most of the weekend sitting at the firepit by the creek. The outdoor space at this property is incredible. Loved having my morning coffee on the screened porch listening to the creek. Just what my family needed to get away from it all. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed a family competition of Connect Four. If you are looking for a relaxing, private getaway, this is it. Looking forward to staying again next fall. Thank you Paul for sharing your cabin.

Little Slice of Heaven

What an amazing property! It was immaculate upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable. Ample seating for both living room and dining room table. Outside property was just as nice as inside. We brought our lab with us and there were towels located downstairs for us to dry him off, dog beds and bowls. The hosts literally thought of everything.....even down to the TV's being set up to watch Netflix or local channels. They even have a heater on the upstairs back porch if it gets cool out. The hot tub next to the creek was a bonus. If you are looking for a relaxing trip in the mountains with your pup.......this is the place. Thank you Paul for hosting us.

The Perfect Cabin in the Woods

We enjoyed our one week stay at Paul's cabin on the creek. The property is very private and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation in the woods. Paul and JoAnna were always available to help or answer any questions. The house was very comfortable for our family and our dog. We enjoyed hiking, boating, going to local wineries and breweries, making fires in evening and hanging around the cabin. The kids loved being at the lower level, sleeping in awesome bunk beds, having two TV's and their own kitchen! The deck outside is very comfortable for outdoor dinners, and the lights create a very nice atmosphere in the evening. The cabin has several comfortable areas for hanging out and enjoying your days and evenings. Overall, we had great times at Paul's cabin. We would love to come back some time in the future!

Why they chose this property

If you love Creekside a fraction of how much I do, you'll be a happy person.

I fell in love with this place within seconds of walking into it. When I walked onto the screened in porch that overlooks Long Branch Creek, I turned to my realtor and said sold.

I've made a ton of updates, and so far the guests have all loved it. Just added the hot tub, and that's been a huge hit!

Creekside is remote and a get a way, but only 1:15 away from Atlanta. It's a short drive to Ellijay and Blue Ridge without paying those premium prices. There are also tons of wineries close by too, Carter's Lake, Amicalola Falls and tons of hiking, Ocoee River rafting, and so much more.

What makes this property unique

Long Branch Creek runs right through my backyard, and steps away from the back deck and fire pit. The sounds echo off the ridge, and magically melting away any tensions within seconds. Time just moves slower out there, and it's a wonderful thing.

The hot tub has been a huge hit, and it's fun to sit in it just a few fee from the creek. Try shutting off the jets and sitting in silence for a minutes... pure bliss.

Wood-fired Ooni pizza oven, and wood-fired Recteq grill. If you like to cook, you will love these. I always suggest checking out their websites before coming up. Especially for the RecTeq because you can make some incredible meals with ease.

The Long Branch Saloon and game room downstairs has a kitchenette, ice machine, and more. Perfect staging area for cooking on the pizza oven or grill, charcuterie for the deck, S'mores by the fire pit, kids zone, and more.
