This was a good property and surprisingly had a lot of room. Its walking distance from multiple Metra stations and restaurants.

The surrounding neighborhood is currently in transition, with several homes in various states of disrepair or renovation on the block. During our stay on Friday night, there were several rounds of gunshots heard a few blocks away, which caused some safety concerns. Living room TV is permanently set to monitor the apartment’s exterior security cameras and cannot be used as a standard TV (there is a second TV in the bedroom). Windows are all fitted with blackout blinds that don’t open easily, limiting natural light and views outside.Host was very responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. The apartment itself was clean and location provides easy access by car to downtown (10-15 min drive).Bedding and towels were plenty however some basic kitchen amenities and basic bath items were limited, so may want to think about bringing your own.
