About this property
Gite La Granica (restored barn)
In the heart of the Landais forest, in a small, peaceful village where time seems to stand still, stands La Granica, a former barn lovingly renovated with respect for nature. Here, every stone, every beam tells a storey, the storey of a place designed to offer calm and rejuvenation to those who enter its doors. Monique and André, your hosts, have imbued this building with an eco-friendly and welcoming spirit. The natural insulation of cork, cellulose wadding, and wood wool, the breathable lime screed, the oak and chestnut flooring… everything has been carefully considered to create a gentle and healthy atmosphere. In winter, the pellet stove radiates comforting warmth, while in summer, the travertine terrace invites you to savour the balmy evenings.
