Boston getaway

The place was very clean and there was plenty of room for the three of us during our stay. We flew into town so relied on public transit, short walk to train station or bus station. Having your own car would be even easier but it didn’t make our travels difficult. Would stay at this place again for sure, area was very quiet, the outside deck area was very nice and peaceful.

Beautiful view of the Boston skyline from roof patio. Air conditioning worked very well considering the extreme heat during our stay. Clean and comfortable. Quick uber to the city.

Historic House with Boston Personality

This wonderful third floor walkup is full of Boston flavor. Across the street is a beautiful church that has obviously been there for ages. The sun porch off the living room has a fire pit and amazing skyline views. It’s definitely for folks who can climb stairs, which we count as a plus since we’re trying to get our exercise in. :-)

An older bldg. with warmth and charm. Smaller rooms but very functional. Beautiful deck with great views. It is a 3 story walkup but it has a strong banister. Parking was very available. I will be back again!

A cozy doll house

The apartment is clean, tidy, and cute. We had everything we needed for a short stay for two people. The kitchen was fine for preparing breakfast, but it would be difficult to do any serious cooking since it was small. By far the best feature is the deck with comfortable chairs and a great view. The onlu downside is that is was far from the center of Boston.

Moving up!

My daughter and I stayed at this rental while she was moving apartments. We loved everything about this property! It was clean, quiet and cozy. We had rented a UHAUL and needed parking, which can be a challenge in Boston. There was ample street parking, for both the UHAUL and our rental car. Camille was very accommodating to all our last minute issues, and was quick to respond to with questions. The beds were super comfortable, and the deck with the view was the perfect place to relax at the end of a stressful day. Would absolutely stay here again !

Great place for a long weekend!

This place was exactly as described on vrbo! It was so comfy and had all the qualities of home. Amenities include coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hangers, soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser in shower, and blow dryer. Check in was seamless with key pad on the front door. This is an attic apartment, so you must be able to handle stairs. The patio was a great way to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. It has an easy to use fire pit and a great view of the Boston skyline. We ubered most places, as it would have been a far walk to the sites we wanted to see. The Ubers were plentiful and very reasonably priced. Camille is a great host and responded very quickly to all of my questions. I don’t think we’ll ever go back to a hotel!!

Stairs galore and smells like cat

The amount of stairs were not mentioned in this listing. One of the guests was 8 months pregnant and it was very difficult. The overwhelming smell of cats when you walk in the main building is overwhelming and wafts into the unit. The down stairs neighbor is a joy as well, constantly pounding in his ceiling for us to be quiet. We had our shoes off and we’re hardly loud enough to complain. The price is right for this location. But that’s about it.

Excuse me, “overwhelming smell of CATS.” Lol, this is certainly a first. This is a pet free space and the only odor that was smelled was the pungent rancid perfume worn by you all that needed to be aired out well after you all checked out. The listing clearly list that it’s on the upper level and that there are stairs, so clearly you didn’t take the time to read the description which speaks to your lack of attentiveness that also showed in the mess and trash left behind which you were asked to remove. In addition to leaving behind trash, you all had no regards to the amount of noise you all created as you all stomped and trotted through space at all hours of the early morning. Manners clearly are lacking and certainly maybe you’d be better suited at a hotel.

There was in fact a fish cloth and kitchen towel provided along with paper towels. Guests are expected to provide their own groceries. Spices and aluminum foil you could have brought from home or the local market.

Charming and clean

This was our first trip to Boston and it was a girls trip that had been in the works since 2020 but had to be postponed due to the pandemic. The property was very clean. Easy check in. Our favorite part had to be the outdoor rooftop area. Beautiful view and furniture. The only issues were the futon being extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. You could feel every support rod. We did go out and purchase memory foam to add for the remainder of our trip which made a world of difference. We also would have appreciated more than one roll of toilet paper. Overall though it was charming property and I would stay there again.
